Check these out, yes the bulb is close to the radio but shows how much interference is created but the bulb/ballast.
I'm pretty sure quite a bit interference is caused but the light bulb. I've been told its the quartz filament that does it but have no way to test it. The reason I think this is from the bulb or possibly from where the wires connect to the mogul socket is because I tested out the ballast with the bulb at about 7 feet away and as I got the bulb closer the interference on the radio got more intense.
I'll do some more videos maybe in the next two weeks and I'll try to put the ballast on a voltmeter with a clamp to test out power consumption and heat generation vs a conventional ballast.
