Is it possible to clone in coco? I am struggling with rapid rooters. Coco seems so easy with everything. Any ideas?

Sure - in fact there are 'Jiffy Pots' made from coconut coir available though I definitely would not recommend 'Jiffy Pots' per se because of the netting surrounding these products.
There are also other coir plugs which do not have the netting.
Loose coir is something that I've played with and had good success.

My Preferred method of cloning is in straight coco. I consistantly achieve 90% or better success rate with this method-- Super Easy Deezy!

Cloning in coco coir is very easy. You don't even need to use rooting gels and powders. All you need is to stick your clones in posts of coco coir, and keep air humidity high.

i leave the pump on 24/7 with a bit of formulex in the tank with some canna Rhizotonic
take the cuts soak them in a PH of 5.8 with a weak nute solution
then place into root riots,cut the leave tips back to reduce transpiration ,propergate with high humidity to keep them moist or keep the tray wet
then once rooted thru put them into coco,water/feed in well

I have had about 90% success just sticking cuttings in wet coco. Lately, I've been soaking them in water from a gallon jug mixed with 1 drop Super Thrive, 1/4 tsp aqua shield and 1/2 tsp MaxiCrop, then water the coco with that same mix at the time of planting, then no more liquid for about a week. No failures and they seem really happy with that mix.
Just grab a bottle of dip N gro follow the instructions plant into strait coco put under lights. youll have roots in 7-14 days depending on strains... Roots popping out the bottom of cups that is.

Cloning in coco is very easy. I believe that a clone started in coco can be potted in coco with minimum transplant shock. You just need to keep the coco moist and use a heat pad to keep root zone about 80F. Weak lighting and a weak feed for clones, water only for seedlings. Here's some clones in little 3oz cups of coco. I'm even using coco in cups for germinating seeds.
I consistently get 95%+ in coco. I soak the coco beforehand with a half strength (or 1/3 strength, if I'm feeling conservative) complete veg nutrient ph'd @ 5.8-6.0. I dip the cuts in Clonex gel, enough to plug the stem-hole and any bare nodes I stripped, then I scrape off the excess around the stem itself.
Too much cloning gel will cause your stems to kink in the middle, due to rot. Much like if you keep a clone in too moist a rooter plug.
I have noticed more aggressive roots when using cloning gel, however there seems to be little difference in the time it takes to clone. (Maybe a couple days, all cuts are rooted in two weeks flat, and I'm talking roots just like are on the Clonex bottle.)

Read Rez's cloning method...............I followed it w/ a few tweaks of my own and got 100% within 10 days w/ SFV OG, which are notorious for taking for ever to root.
Coco/perlite 75/25 mix..............Canna Coco A&B 4ml each per gallon, 5ml Cal-Mag Plus & 6ml hygrozeme (sp?)................
Cut your clones LARGE............at least 6"..........I usually removed 4 to 5 nodes off of each clone
Soak in Clonex for 2 minutes.............
Stick the clone as deep as possible...............the more of the stem that is buried, the less moisture the clone loses...............
Mist once & once only..............under humidity done for 24 hours only...........
Remove humidity dome & water w/ nute mix above if coco feels like it's drying out.....kinda like the old "lift" method soil growers use

Second & third pictures are from today......10 days later

Very nice Bunz (no pun intended) I was wondering what the RH and temps are in your clone room? RH is typically low here, I've been using a dome for the first week after cutting.

Cloning in coco (loose) in dixie cups with drainage slits on the bottom. I like to gently scrape the bottom of the cutting and dip it into hormex and then into slightly damp coco, water when dry and depending on the strain (some don't tolerate direct floros so well). I have a 98% sucess rate with this method.

It's in the house, so 70 degrees or so.................I do keep the tray on a seedling mat though. R/H is typically low here in So Cal (usually under 40%). I still believe cutting huge clones helps minimize the moisture loss.

I have two Kush clones that have been in the recommended conditions for the last ten days. I put them in a plastic container and put that in the rapid rooter tray, kept temps betw 74-85. I haven't quite figured out how to check for roots, but I will let them go another few days.
