I know Auto Ak-47 is one of the highest yielding one's, but is there a new one or something that yields close to the AK-47?

The AK crosses yield good as you say but there are a couple of new strains out thal are looking promising. Have a look at Dragos MI5 grow, not done but looking like a great yielder. Then there is the RRF, not all yeild great but if you get the bush pheno your in for a treat.

Im growing La diva and HBD and scored one pheno of each that could reach 2 oz. Also the Sour 60 of Mdanzig is supposed to be a good yielder.

I would of probably bought Mdanzig seed's, but there not femmies.

surely u wouldnt want fem seeds as once the grow is done u have to buy more seeds? would it not make sense to buy regular, make your own seeds then make a fem batch? that is unless you like spending loads of cash on seeds every 2months

I think sah should make a sticky thread that gives the info asked for here, as it is asked over and over again, i got the bushy pheno rrf i think she would of yielded nicely if it wasnt for the early pollination, i have a bushy taller pheno also, and a what looks to be a micro pheno in my rrf batch, i will run the seeds made from this batch and see what they offer, im also going back to canna soils, as i tryed coco this time around and have had quite unpleasant results

So far I've grown the following auto strains: LR II, Diesel Ryder, Hindu Kush, Blue Himalayan, White Russian, AK47 x blueberry, Snowryder, Pakistani Ryder and Mi5. All were grown outdoors under less than optimal conditions. The biggest yields by far came from the Mi5. They got about 30" tall and averaged 2 ounces per plant. Grown indoors under controlled conditions I think they could easily produce 3 ounces or more. I've got Onyx seeds for this year and believe they should yield similar to the Mi5. The Mi5 was also the most potent, followed by the White Russian and Blue Himalayan. The Snowryder and AK47 x blueberry were somewhat of a disappointment, not being more than average potency.

muddy u sound like u work for stich, when someone grows out mi5 that doesnt hermie then ill listen, stick with auto ak if u want yeild, its tried n tested, the rest be happy with 15 grams per plant.

No, only work for myself. I had 5 seeds of the Mi5. Four germed, 1 was male and 3 females. I had no problems with hermies but again, I grew them outdoors. Maybe it's just not a good indoor strain. I got yields as high as 3/4 ounce from the Diesel Ryder, Blue Himalayan, Snowryder and White Russian. But the Hindu Kush and Paki Ryder only yielded 1/4. Not worth growing outdoors. But you're right, my average was just over 1/2 ounce from all strains combined. That was under pretty adverse conditions. It was very rainy and I was using liquid nutes so couldn't feed as often as I had planned. Hoping to do better this year.

Muddy: You got 3/4 oz from snowryder outside? I ran a 20 pack last run, found a ncie keeper pheno too bad you didn't have such luck. I am running F2's from that pollen chuck to see what came through. I was planning on putting a few outside this summer, good to read some info on it's preformance outside.

Maybe it's just not a good indoor strain.

Doubt that, since Mi5 stands for My Indoor #5, just because one person had hermies doesn't mean everyone will.

Its a relatively new strain and not alot of people have grown it out yet. The only complete grow I can find at the moment would have to be yours Muddy.

Yes, 3/4 ounce outdoors. That was the Short Stuff Snowryder, not the White Label. I've been told the White Label isn't stabilized yet. I used a mixture of MG garden soil, peat humus, sphagnum peat moss and worm castings. Fed with Fox Farms Grow Big and Tiger Bloom.

You are absolutely right, forgot what it stood for.

I had been looking for bigger auto strains and jumped on the Mi5 soon as it came out. I'm sure others are working on similar strains that grow bigger with higher yields. I think the potential of these plants if tremendous and can't wait to see what is developed over the next few years.

I've got a friend that is growing Mi5 indoors. He's only at 6 weeks but no signs of hermies on his.

Doubt that, since Mi5 stands for My Indoor #5, just because one person had hermies doesn't mean everyone will.

ALL STITCHES STOCK HERMIES, believe me tryed em for my self and his rrf has males that turn female hermies ( the very worst type of hermy ) so im too gonna say that when people show me his stock that hasnt hermed i'll believe them but just look at my thread and dargo's thread, and infact all the short stuff threads and the majority show herms!

Grown a couple of SS strains and never seen any herms. Read Dragos thread and he had one that put out a couple of balls, snipped them of and it was all good. But like you said it did Hermy.

What I have to ask you though is how I can be the worst kind of Hermy when a male turn female?? To me that doesent sound bad at all. If its already a Male why would it matter? I dont like bud with seeds so I just bin my males anyway....
That is if your not making seeds but if that is the case just dont use a Hermy male, usa an other one..... dont really see the problem here? Enlighten me mate.

Besides the Mi5 I've also grown Short Stuff Snowryder and Blue Himalayan and had no hermies. But again, these were all grown outdoors. I've got some Blue Himalayan x diesel coming that I plan on growing indoors. Will be interesting to see what happens with them.

ALL STITCHES STOCK HERMIES,

seems a very sweeping statement when it appears you have not grown all his strains. i also grew a few different shortstuff strains outdoors last summer and had no problems

My experience proves your statement to be incorrect

It does seem some people have problems but in the interests of accuracy lets keep our statements factual
