thanks guys! they are curing up nice. they smell great. a bunch of different sweet smells fill the room when i burp the glass jars of the two sage phenos and the sage n sour.
i think i will give the sage its first smoke test today (i can't wait any longer) but i will continue to cure the rest

first taste test of sage, after about a week of curing and WOW!
i just grabbed a few very small nugs (about a bowl-full each) and stuck it in my little pipe. these nugs came off the shorter pheno, the one that smelled just like sweet pink grapefruit while it flowered. i love this plant!
the smell - the nugs smell almost like they thicken the air when you sniff them. very sweet, thick, and tangy smelling. actually reminds me of drinking "tang" now that i think of it.
the smoke - the smoke is damn fine too with only a weeks cure. it has that "thickness" to it that leaves that tangy, smoke taste on the roof of your mouth and tongue. no coughing here at all. smooth, thick and tangy. extremely smooth and tasty.
the high - i ended up packing one bud into the bowl and killing it myself. probably about 5-6 hits. first bowl definately got me up and running! did a few things for about 5 minutes and packed up a second bud. boom! it hit me. i finished the bowl and just sat staring at the tv with my forehead down the spine of my back just tingling in the chair. i started thinking "damn, this shit is kickin in nice!" i just zoned out for a few minutes enjoying the different buzz than i have been used too. about 30 minutes later and my head is still tingling, i feel really relaxed even after drinking a coffee. clear and awake, not tired at all although i my eyes are a little squinted.
i am very glad to see that this little plant, that smelled so good in flowering, holds on to that sweet smell and taste when smoked. this is a very special plant. now i see why sage is crossed with so many other strains.

cool beans man, promix is the shit! and those plants definitely seem to be lovin that co2. good job with those strains man, people rip on TH Seeds too often it's good to see their strains well represented. Will def stick around for the smoke report on the sage n sour, I would love to know how good it retains the sour D qualities in the smoke

peacethanks chronjohn. the sage n sour is nice smoke. i dont smell a whole lot when i smell in the glass jar, but when i break up the nugs it smells so good. i definately think i have a more sage-dominant pheno, but it definately has sour smell and taste working for it too.
i am a big fan of th seeds after my first two grows with them. no problems with them at all

Beautiful pics Mixin.Great thread and smoke reports too.I am a BIG fan of Sage and Sour after getting a really sweet oz of it 5-6 yrs ago.I also sampled the Sage at Amnesia but never grew either strain out.I have been offered a cut of Sage n Sour.I KNOW I want to grab pks of both strains though and search for my own keepers.
In the meantime I will grow the S&S cut.Thx for getting me psyched up.Great plants man.I am sure they are tastey.Peace..BL

Here's a few photos of a NYCD x Sweet Tooth #3 I just finished running: DWC, chopped at day 65 12/12, Holland Secret nutes, Liquid Karma, Hygrozyme, Pure Flowers 0-30-20 (bloom booster). Ran at around 5.8 p.h., 1200-1300 ppm from about week 4 through 7, then flushed with p.h.'ed water for 2 weeks, then with Clearex the last two days. I haven't tried her yet, but these crappy pix don't really convey just how nice she looks (and smells). She definately seems to lean toward her Sweet Tooth mama.
i bet that SnS cut is killer. i would grow that out and also buy a 5 pack of fem sage seeds and i bet you would be in heaven. friends are totally shittin there pants when they smell the sage n sour. i think that the sage even smells even better at times too. insane smoke for sure. smells and smokes so good it will spoil you.
i would love to see some pics of your sage n sour when you flower it too!

P.S.I love the foxtaiing on your buds.I get that with anything diesel usually.I use a mixed spectrum bulb.Does that contribute to it? Sure is pretty.
