Up Bangor way. God I miss Maine sometimes. Lived there for almost 25 years. Carpentered out on the islands in Penobscot Bay. This year my Winter is worse down here than what you guys are getting. I would love for someone to explain to me what the new laws are that are about to take effect. I was out of the loop and never got the memo that Maine is going full Medical. I read on another forum that you can right now grow for up to 6 patients 6 plants. 36 in the yard with paperwork. But you can buy a license and grow unlimited. Anyone know the real deal? I still have a place in Maine and ....well, you know

I loved growing outdoors in Maine. The long daylight. So much space. My place was surrounded by nothing in every direction. Cutovers grown in with rasberries. That was the best terrain. Anyplace that had been cutover a few years prior. Or old abandoned fields slowly filling in with trees. God the bugs were awful though. Kept everyone out of the woods.I moved up there in early 80's with some seeds i got from a friend in RI. He got them from his buddy who had gone to Afghanistan. They were pure landrace Afghan Indica. They grew short and smelled wonderful. Of course I did not know then what I wish I didn't know now, just how special those seeds were. Anyway I was just thinking about what it used to be like driving to work, going through Ducktrap and Lincolnville seeing the sunrise spread out over Penobscot Bay. The near islands of Islesboro and Northhaven. The long view across the water to Blue Hill, and on a good day Cadillac Mountain all the way on Mt Desert Island.
