What's new

Colorado Medical Marijuana Analytical Lab

This is the thing about being "legit", you invite this type of crap to invade your life.
I was selling retail and I got my license (which was not the norm where I was at) and paid the sales tax. What I got out of that was two accidental (some state worker reversed numbers of a delinquent license) liens and a bad credit mark, all of which turned into a huge freaking headache that took years to clear up.
It sounds easy to clear up ( show them the canceled check) but it is never that easy.
Then, I send a check for my business license renewal. My check is cashed, but some city employee neglects to enter into the coputer that I paid the damn bill. Next thing I know, there is city investigators looking over my fence and spying on my house to see if I was running a company without a license.
I walked out there with the canceled check. Not good enough, they want me to re-apply, new fingerprints and all that because the license has lapsed (because someone didn't input it in the computer)
But, I still was tripping because they were looking over my fence and commenting on my "nice garden"

what you dont understand is that the DEA HAD TO CHECK OUT the lab....they filed for a controlled substance license.....When the DEA came to check out the lab for a license they smelled weed, weed is still illegal federally..... even if obama doesnt want to bust state legal operations, when you invite the DEA to your shop you know there is going to be problems untill its LEGAL federally....no if &'s or buts about it.....just bad judgment on the part of the lab. I respect what the lab is doing, but this was foolish.

This was not a "Raid"....This was Full Spectrum inviting the DEA into a federally illegal establishment.

***I still respect what you do full spectrum, just fire whoever gave you the advice to file for a DEA license***

That makes perfect sense

This is truly a sad story and one I hope ends well for Spectrum. I hope to see them up again stronger than ever. Couldn't be more proud that an outfit like this is taking the lead in CO.

This should be a lesson to all MMJ outfits that are all too eager to be legit...there are limitations in our current environment to how much you should do, especially where the Feds are concerned. Trying to do it all above board with a DEA license is admirable, but a fool's errand in our current political reality.

A dispensary owner told me today that he spoke with Bud, the president of full spectrum labs yesterday, and that Bob, the lab operator, has been arrested and charged.

Can anyone confirm this???? I'm surprised if its true and the news doesn't pick it up.

I have had a number of things tested there, and know the people well. As far as I know, Bob is the majority owner of the company, and pretty much runs the place too. I have only met "Bud" once, and he is definitely not the owner.

I talked to them today to confirm this, and it is not true. No one has been arrested. I suspect someone is spreading lies or bad information.

If you've done business with this outfit, or the one in the Springs that also got raided, than you should assume the DEA knows whatever the lab knows about you. Play it safe.

Has anyone heard more on the Colorado Springs Lab Genovations getting raided? Sounds like nobody learned a lesson from Full Spectrum

Are you serious? this is nothing like the services that full spectrum offers. They do hplc testing, you are selling what looks like a rebranded version on the cannalytics test that has been sold forever on numerous other websites. I have used this test and it is crap. Not reproducible not capable of giving real numbers that any dispensiary will believe.

Maybe we can get full spectrum to respond to this?

Seems there are GC labs popping up everywhere in the state. There is one on Boulder called RM3, and I've heard of one up in Loveland also!

State mandated testing is just around the corner for the dispensaries... and they know this.

This is the place & the time... watch CO... it's going to be amazing... a different world.

These tests don't even look at the terepene or flavinoid ratios. They're really not getting the full picture. We have an opportunity to start picking apart the seemingly mysterious properties that make different lines so unique. Lets get on it people.

I also remember reading a few years back that Sam the Skunkman had some trouble finding properly made calibration samples. I think he had problems getting 100% THC. Are these still issues today?
