seeking a heightened paranoia strain.......

c99 will do it if you have little experience with sativas.

Short flowering sativas dont really do the job for me personally.

As mentioned before mexicans are a good bet including trainwreck, columbian punto rojo from what I've heard (havent tried it) has an electric, racy effect. Certain hazes will also do the job well.

pure C99 made me paranoid in large amounts. C99 crosses (especially when used as the male on an Indica mom) didn't have near the paranoia, just added extra punch.

Nirvana Jock Horror (haze pheno) made me paranoid. The lanky pheno with long foxtail buds is a real heady bell ringer. I had to limit smoking that to just a few tokes or it was anxiety attack city.

hi Trillion

I find some strains are really good and deliver if you don't smoke too much but with constant use they can become useless/unpotent.

C99 is one such example, if I haven't smoked for a while and smoke c99 I can get reeally high and will even experience the paranoia and all fine qualities but if I smoke a lot of her and smoke her constantly over a long period of time she barely gets me high even after a dozen bowls/joints..

Yes I agree the tolerance build up is very quick. I agree C99 can do the trick just not if you a constant smoker of good quality sativa flowers!

After all it's just watered down Jack Herer which is itself just a haze multi hybrid, still a very nice strain!

I have asperger's syndrome and a good quality sativa helps me to be less.... well... wierd!

Anything with a lot of haze in it... Though even some indica strains like Sensi Star can get you pretty paranoid... I also thought S.A.G.E. was a pretty trippy high

You just listed two of my favorite strains (Sensi Star, SAGE). I also love C99 and Jack and ANY hazey plant, all which have paranoiac qualities.

I wonder if there's a correlation between fantastically energetic/creative strains and paranoia. You don't hear people talking about weed paranoia so much anymore, maybe because most of us are smoking indicas or indica crosses?

I dunno, something to think about. At least Sativas make you *feel*, even if you *feel paranoid*.

Durban x Thai was kinda popular around here a decade ago.
Way too many people took it early and had the worst noias.
Friends called in the middle of the night all the time. Whispering on the phone that I should come and get them out of there because 'they' were out to get them.
Sometimes it was sorta funny because some friends who called weren't even in the same country. Weird times.

Why you looking for paranoia? Isnt nice feeling for sure.. I think if you smoke "to much" every weed can get you paranoid, offcourse whit hazy sativas its more possible.

Ace seeds' Nepalese Jam. And it wasn't even funny how nuts it made us. Sweating, shaking, red-eyed, and getting ultra paranoid about everything.

C99... well, yeah, you get the panic rising but it plateaus into mild terror. Nepjam was full on Shit! close the curtains - lock the doors - HIDE!

And yeah, it's one that made me so paranoid I tore down my grow once. Potent stuff....

funkervogt,

I believe paranoia and creativity are related as both spring from imagination / fantasy . Most good sativas I have smoked that were trippy/racy and had the paranoia element to the high were usually very creative and motivational.

Hi wdr,

Well being drunk , unable to speak or walk properly can also be considered as a not very nice feeling but many people enjoy it and consider it fun.. :)

I believe there is good paranoia and bad paranoia..
Good paranoia is like when you have play it act sober in front of people you know but when you don't really worry about if they find out you are drunk/stoned..
..Bad paranoia is having to play it cool n sober when being asked questions by cops !

Sure not all types of weed are good for all the people , some types may not help some people at all..but can even make things worse..

I don't really agree than too much weed will make you paranoid if you are healthy mentally, it still all depends on the strain some are very relaxing/calming and put you into a good mood even after long term , heavy use.

Deffo Blue Dream.... I like it, I grow it, but oddly enough, only at night can I smoke it. In the day, it makes me think too much. Not about meadows and sunny skies,either... lol...

But, it doesn't keep me awake. And somehow, even with the Haze, still gets me visibly baked.

The original Trainwreck literally felt like I was shot out of a psychedelic canon. Just came across this new lemon skunk/haze of some sorts that is quite the mind fuck. Somethin to make you sweat eh?

Green crack is the worst I've tried for paranoia... straight up 45 minute panic attack!

I was smoking chemd and sourd at the time, loved em, but for straight up scary strong the greenhouse grown greencrack was the winner.

why would you do this deliberately ? have you got a girl friend/buddy/relative that you WANT to stop smoking ????? or just playing an elaborate trick on someone that REALLY deserves it ? :whistling:

I like a good paranoia in my sativas too :)

I really believe trippines/racyness in weed is associated with paranoia in most sativas.

Its just that the illegal status of the plant is not really helping when it comes to using plants that have such qualities and can have bad effects on the mind and soul for this reason.

Paranoia can be good or bad depending on the situation and how one can control the experience.

I always like a potent giggly/trippy/racy/up strain , reminding me how psychedelic weed can be..

C99 has some paranoia to the high also some other haze hybrids can have such qualities , NevillesHaze phenos can be very racy/trippy and can have the paranoia element to the high.
I agree w/the paranoia/illegal thing going and would likely only toke it when I'm not growing.

that would be an excellent joke, nope I'm sorta tired of the laid back indicas and used to love that racy tweaky feeling from a good paranoia enhancing weed.

I'm never afraid to leave the house and deal w/the public when buzzed on any indicas but I recall canceling appointments and even pulling a no show for poker tournies from that paranoia, I enjoyed the feeling as long as I was home alone or with a trusted friend.......

Needless to say I'll be looking into some C99 and crosses.

EDIT:
thanks for all the insightful replies

landrace lines and Island sativas - Jamaican sativa , Hawaiian strains and some thai X afghani,of course some 303 or some Vietnamese lines will shure send you into the noidz !!!

I grew some death star from seed a while back and when we harvested, after 3 hits my husband was uncomfortably high, I remember it being pretty potent. I myself wasn't uncomfortably high, but I medicate much hevier than he does, but he is by no means an amature potsmoker.
