I live and grow in the sticks, cops seldom come thru the neighborhood, and i dont have to worry about family and shit "being in the area" and stopping by randomly.

i grow in a apartment in a densely populated area .. and am going grey before my time .. you gotta be paranoid enough to think up new ways to get hydro gear in and out ...and ways to keep the grow room quiet .... but if i was in the countryside all these worries would disappear.. so it had to be in the sticks for me

I said the city. I'm sure everyone here can appreciate that growing quality cannabis takes more than putting a seed in some dirt. You need supplies and equipment, and it's a pain to get them out in the boonies. Stop acting like pussies this isn't 1970.

Yea in the 70's growing wasn't the same offense as it is now either. City growing is a double edged sword, on the one hand it is nearly impossible for city PD to get an accurate heat signature of a complex style building. On the other hand, there is quite a bit more foot traffic in apartments and such which means stealth is much more of the focus.

Growing in the boonies is more for industrial and large scale growing I feel like. The added security and floor space make it possible to grow on a much larger scale than in a city apartment or house. Yet, heat is the biggest concern for boonies grows. If the cops come trolling through and have their heat gun on, you could be beat pretty hard. Basements and cellars make up for this sometimes, but not always.

In either situation security is always of the utmost importance, the different between the two is really environmental. I know I wouldn't grow in the building I used to live in, just too many people and such. Some people can pull off amazing stealth in the city, so its really up to you.

whats up with you guys and your heat sigs? If you insulate properly they won't be able to heat sig you. Grow in the basement, insulate your windows if there are some, its pretty easy to beat a cop in a chopper, you just gotta be smart.

Strictly from a quality and quantity standpoint and all else being equal, I would love to grow outdoors.
