Yeah, the THC might get sucked up out of the soil into the school's vegetables and get EVERYONE STONED!!!! :)

Rediculous..... Maintaining an atmosphere of fear over drugs.... The propaganda worked...

Now that has to be the most utterly stupendously ignorant retarded thing Ive ever heard. "I bet the schools built on a former landfill" or something like that.

But hey "THEY LIVE IN THE MATRIX" what do you expect.:smokey:

that's the dumbest shit ever, and clear proof of how effective the anti-MJ crowd has been these past 100 years =(

It just goes to show how entrenched reefer madness still is in our society. I am soooo fucking fed up with it!

I really feel bad for the guy who was donating the soil; the joy of giving and sense of community he must have felt was just stripped away like he was some lowlife piece of shit.

I'll bet if Anheuser-Busch did the donating and had the Budweiser clydesdales deliver a wagon load of compost there would have been a carnival like atmosphere; instead we end up seeing something more like the Salem witch hunts. What a bunch of anachronistic hypocrites!

- School officials said they would return his dirt.

"We'd rather get soil from reputable soil people," Shelton said. -

Refuse it. I suppose they have a line out the door of "reputable soil" benefactors?

Great point and extremely well worded too, might I add ;)

That school would probably be doing the kids a real positive career orientated service if they got the guy from the non-profit med-'erb dispensary to come along and teach them how to grow the most profitable crop in the USA....

My Gramp's taught me how to grow when I was just a kid and it has saved me from poverty on many occasions....

Props to the guy for attempting to donate...this was a good step in community relations. The school board looks bad for this...turning down generous donations of materials in the middle of a recession? bad move.

isn't it the norm now in alot of US schools that they're being sponsored by players like McDonalds, Pepsi and Coke, they pay for a basketball hall and get to advertise there without competition, and parents actually like that

obviously some self-important school board official is thinking about running for higher office. that's why he grabbed at the opportunity to spread fear that childen would be corrupted by organic soil. what an asshole.

It's becoming clear (especially during the last few months) that anyone involved in the LEGAL business of medical cannabis is to be treated like a second or third class citizen. We have far less rights than a liquor store owner has, for instance. We're being treated like freaking children.

It's disgusting and it's making me more cynical than I already was. All I want is to be able to share my wisdom with people who recognize and understand the medicinal properties of cannabis, and the government is saying NO, even though it's my constitutional right to do so. I'm more frightened as a legal patient and caregiver than I was in the past, and that's obviously wrong.

As I have been foolishly hoping for my state to go medical or decriminalize , I have come to the conclusion that I will be better of remaining in the black market

I bet the Santa Barbara County Education Office would have graciously accepted a donation of dirt from Pfizer, Roche, Merck, Eli Lilly, Bristol-Myer Squibb, or any of the other many Pharmaceutical Companies that are killing people daily.

However, dirt from a med-club....NO WAY! THAT DIRT IS EVIL, AND WILL CAUSE YOUR CHILDREN'S EARS TO FALL-OFF, AND GROW-UP TO BE GAY!

NOTE TO THE SANTA BARBARA EDUCATION OFFICE: IT'S ONLY FUCKING DIRT YOU MORONS! A KIND & CONSIDERATE GIFT OF COMPLIMENTARY DIRT AT THAT YOU FLUFFY BUNNY DOUCHENOZZLES!

Kids, watch out for that mary-u-hana soil!

Studies have shown that Mary-u-hana soil has been linked to suicide, obesity, criminal behavior, domestic violence, gang-rape and any prolonged exposure to the soil will lead to a life long heroin addiction and will turn your kid into a terrorist.
