I just got some superthrive from a friend for free, have you used it before. Do you use it just durring veg or durring your flower too? If you use it durring flower is there a difference in the size of bud that you've noticed?

Hey Cali welcome to CA. Plants are looking nice good luck with them. I can appreciate the tight budget, I'm in a similar situation when it comes to cash flow, one of the reasons why I'm growing. Keep those pics coming.

The clones I took of the 4 Chronic mothers. I took 2 clones from each plant and they all have roots. This is right after replanting. I am using whatever containers I can find at this point and drilling holes in the bottom.

It's been 3 months in the making and the time is finally here. I put these in the night before last. This is day 1 of flower. I took the box fan out because I needed the extra plug for an aquarium heater to heat the nutrient solution. So far so good. I took these pictures yesterday and I checked it this morning and roots are starting to explode out of the holes in the containers.

I have to go to work, I will update when I get home this evening. I hope everyone has a great day! Take it easy and keep it dank! :joint:

Just noticed the plants are a touch on the light green side, maybe a bit more nitrogen. I miked in blood meal with mine to get a steady flow of organic fert and helps all the micro organisms (when I drilt the holes for drain off it smelt like bring on farm). I'm a big fan of liquid seaweed I've used it in every grow Ive done and it works wonders and lasts forever.
An organic fix to the yellow curling plant would be to lightly mix in some bone or kelp meal and do a slow even water and foliar feed with that seaweed. Maybe its micro nute lockout it would guess

[Jare, my friend, i can't wait to see Chronic done by you.]

Rex, hope you got your clones sorted. Which plants are you talking about mate? The Jack Herer? It's not doing that anymore but it's still being fussy with nutes.

I will try and take pics of the plants today. :)

Drilling holes in them I do think def saved my ice and white widdow, which are really the only ones that count (since they are assured fems). They perked up by the end of the day and I have some roots I can see in white widdow def a good sign. It also fixed the burn that was on my other purple bagseed 1. Many thanks for the advice.

That jack herer sounds like a white rhino I grew a year back or so, it always had a nute problem (was on grass city then) which is why I decided to go organic this time around and hopefully aviod all the nute problems.

Flowering Chronic :)

picture.php

Chronic #1, the shortest one. This one is nowhere near the others as far as flowering. This one is also the least pest resistant(ill get to that in a second) so that might have something to do with it.

picture.php

Chronic #2. My keeper. This one is the frostiest, the strongest, and the most pest resistant of the 4. Out of all the clones, these are getting the most attention. I do not want to lose her.
[Chronic #2.

picture.php

Chronic #2. Not bad at 2 weeks in. The only other than comes even close is #4.
[Chronic #2.

picture.php

Chronic #3. Kinda grows the same as Chronic #1 but much stronger.
[Chronic #3.

picture.php

Chronic #4. Same structure as #2 but not as strong and not as resinous.
[Chronic #4.

Today I had the scare! I opened my tent and there were bugs all over the floor and the bin and the bottom of the stalks and the roots. I spent 8 hours cleaning the rooms out and washing plants and roots and repotting everything! I hope I caught it before it got bad. I opened the window last night to get some air exchange and I think that's when they came in. Not sure if it was aphids or mites, but I think it was both. There were winged aphids and mite looking bugs but they were pretty big, not the typical spider mite, hell they could have been wingless aphids. Most of the roots on Chronic #1, #3 and #4 were pretty beat up but #2 had half of its roots go but still have plenty left. Cleaned everything in the veg closet too. Grape Punch #1 threw some hairs so I have a female there. The other hasn't shown yet. The Jack Herers are doing great! The funny one is pulling out and it starting to stink that "I'm mature but still in veg" stink same with the other female. I topped all of them twice to get them to bush a little. The male stinks like a motherfucker! I definitely know what I like from him. :) Well that's all for now. Once again I apologize for not keeping up with the updates, I have another project that isn't cannabis related that is taking up my time(reef tanks). I hope you can understand. Thanks guys and keep it danK!
Puzzano a pazzo! Grazie ragazzi e fatelo sempre buono!]

Looking good Cal sorry to hear about the bugs, how hots the chamber because I've found at night bugs get attracted to the heat if its cold outside and make a beline for the plants. Try keeping the plants really moist for a day or 2 if its early in flower won't have to worry about rot but it'll flush the bugs out of the plants a bit

Hey Rex thanks for stopping by. They are aphids. I am not sure what kind but I have the neem ready and everything ready to clean again. I went to bed late last night(5am) and woke up at 9am because I was worried about the bugs. I found a 2 winged ones that were live until i smashed them. A few dead ones here and there, that's how I found out they were aphids. I grabbed my magnifying glass and took a closer look and identified them. So far no signs of anything coming back strong but I am on the defensive. First signs of another attack and I'm gonna clean everything out again. :)

A natrual cure could be lady bugs if you release them durring the night(plants off cycle) when they're alseep they will stay near you plants and get rid of lots of pests.Done this with tomatos and it worked nicely

I was thinking about that but it's cold now and I don't think I can find any outside right now. I am also broke so I can't afford to buy any. Thanks for the suggestion brother. :) I will do what I can in the meantime. So far not much has come back, just a few stragglers that I killed on site. The funny part is I found and left 2 garden spiders in there and they didn't do jack and shit. I think I may have killed them when I bombed the room with neem and my bleach/alcohol/water mix. So far so good, hopefully the harvest will still be on time. Might be delayed a few days but that's better than no buds at all don't ya think? Keep it danK mate! :joint:

Hello handsome man the plant for flowering plants, and congratulations, I wish you much luck against the parasites, I was in bloom most advanced of you when I hit the red spider but I could not eradicate, I preferred to do frequently wash affected parts with soap plant and prevent spread to man .. I wish you luck and a good harvest.

Peace

P.S. sorry but use a translator online

UPDATE!!!!!

UPDATE!!!!!

Hello Everyone!
[Ciao a tutti!]

It's been a while. Took a break from updating for Christmas and New Years. Well here we go!
Andiamo!]
I have been battling aphids like crazy. I went and bought 1500 lady bugs and they don't even eat the damn things. I have been cleaning out both rooms like crazy in the last few weeks. I see less and less of them but it seems they will not go away this run.

#2 and #4 are the better looking ones. Low odor but if you shake them and smell them they have a sweet skunk smell to them. I like it. :) Getting very frosty for a "leafy" strain. #1 is a dud. Low yield and slow at flowering. #3 is ok, more skunk than sweet in the smell. Might keep her around because of that. Keep it danK!
Keep it danK!]
