Just a local boy from the islands keeping the mountains green. I am a guerilla grower and love trying new strains. Excited to learn alot and get input from other growers. I srtarted growing herb agaian after a couple years break. I noticed that my grandmother was in constant pain from her muscle spasms, bad knees and recently had open heart surgery . She was like a zombie from all the meds she was taking from her doctors. Almost bed ridden I couldn't handle to watch her go like that. I been trying to get her to try cannabis for years finally after her pills stopped working from her tolerance getting so high. She asked me if she could try some. Within seconds after her first hit she told me she felt releif and the pain wasn't that bad. She could not believe how fast it worked. She doesn't take as much pills now and she is ten times more healthy even carrying around greatgrandchildren. I can honestly say weed saved her life or atleast prolonged it and made it more enjoyable for her. I also grow for my own personal use and am glad I could help out my old Hawaiian grandma.

She likes the bubba kush . When she first started toking it was unknown strains from one of my hookups. I been giving her supersilverhaze for the day and some puna budder for the night. But she has tried many kinds but the bubba worked best for her. I got that from a friend with his med card. When she has her spasms and is in pain crying she lights up and almost instantly the spasms stop. I told her cannabis relaxes muscles one of my other friends uses it for his stomach problems that have to do with his muscles.

Love2, aloha man and welcome. Some of the kindest herbs in my memory bank came from Hawaii in the late 70s, once got purple Hawaiian buds tied around a stick in a sealed coffee can. Anyway, here's a link to a good site for you as a reference, wish our state had a program like yours does:

There still is alot of the old strains around but they are very hard to aquire. I heard someone still has an original kona gold mother from 1980. Wish I could get a cut of that. I grew several Molokai frost females last season and the potency and frost on those were insane. Just popped a bunch of big island sativas from my cousin last trip gonna see if I can find a winner to be a mother. Or maybe just find the best male and best female to get more beans. I'll check that site out for sure man. Mahalo nui loa
