the humboldt snow is far from afgooey which is some fruity dutch crap the snow is some old school humboldt dank that grows super fat out doors! I put 6" clones out door in july and still got a pound each.

But really about 1/4-1/2 oz. maybe more depending on the turn out, but I doubt it. And there's an entry fee which the ladies choose. Nothing crazy though. But bring your A game cause I'm coming and out of the two I've entered, I haven't lost. And I should be bringing some new and improved meds this next time around.
In response to planty, I wouldn't go as far to say afghooey is crap. Maybe you didn't try that good of a phenotype, or maybe you got some bunk with a cool name, shit happens. I used to get what I think is the epitome of Afghooey from a dispensary I worked at. By far the most resinous strain I've come across, with a narcotic indica stone. Since I have never found it quite as good, but that doesn't mean it isn't out there. I've also come across some fantastic to horrid Snow that I would not be paid to smoke but it's really to each it's own, you just can't say this is crap and that is the grail. Namean? As far as 6" cuts in July producing a pound each, prove it. Pics of GTFO. Alright I'm not really that mean, I just think some evidence would help prove your point.

Trust me bro the Afgooey is garbage when you compare her to things like Bubba K or Snow...that dutch high and random fruity taste just don't get me off.
I agree, to an extent, with the "afgooey is crap" opinion. I grew it in both my black box and my Od last year... decent yielder... I got a 2, a 3 and a 4 pounder in 200's. and half pounders coming out of 2 gallon pots into 65s with insufficient veg time in the black box...
Its quite pleasant to grow... really a beautiful strain. i had no idea what it was... I spent a lot of time trying to ID it... we thought it was a DJ Short strain...maybe Flo for a while... finally, on a trip to Fisher's Farm, i saw his Goo in bloom and knew instantly what I had. Far as I know its a clone only strain and extremely popular in the Grass Valley area.
I don't enjoy smoking it... none of the pleasant parts of its smell while flowering..sort of a fruity spicey cold ornage juice smell... none of that seemed to come thru in either mine or fisher's or a third specimen from a third source... all of them were equally tasteless... as a medicine, i feel like it has its place. i kept a jar of this strain for bouts of insomnia. instant nap. it fills that need better than any other strain. I wouldn't grow it again, but will try to keep some meds around for those late nights when i just can't unwind.

Sup I'm a little harsh I guess but the truth is that things are only as good as you compare them to. Nomaad I back read you a little bit when I thought ya was just skimmin me. Mad props for your vast knowledge and ability to be a chameleon - The truth is that if you understand certain principles you can succeed in any game...imagine only having access to certain strains of bamboo but then somewhere in the forest there is a tribe that builds their village from a special stand of bamboo and its harder and more durable than anything youve seen before - to that tribe - your strains would be garbage even if they worked for you and you were happy with them because that tribe was aware of the Kush...Maybe since you started growing and getting in to clones and seeds you've just scratched the surface since I can promise you as I've grown both Afgooey and Snow indoors and Snow outdoors the Snow is a much better all around aide for sleep appetite etc., Just trying to analogize my perspective

im doing ok my wife passed in october after a 5 year battle with breast cancer.......... ill will be by in the next couple of weeks hopefully in the next couple of weeks thanks for the reply

First I must say this...Every time I go to GKG I absolutely love my experience. They are the most warming people and you really feel a sense of Good Karma when going there. Not once, not twice, not three times, but every time I have been there the ladies ALWAYS give medication to those who can't afford it. Being there for maybe just 30-45 mins. yesterday I witnessed this with three separate patients!?! They ARE truly compassionate in every sense of the word and give back as much as they can. I really can't say enough, they are decades ahead of their time and when everything is eventually legalized, they will be looked upon in great light. I wish the best for them and all their patients. 8 hours there and back doesn't seem bad at all when you know your going to GKG.
AND just letting the ICer's know...before they get put on the board.
I dropped off I think 6 packs of seeds yesterday:
~1 pack of Blue Dream X NYCD - "Blue Driesel"
~2 packs of Gob9 X NYCD - "GOB9iesel"
~3 packs of Red Dragon X NYCD - "Red Driesel"
And let me know if you need more F2s of NYCD Kat, as I didn't realize I still have a few more packs I'd be willing to part with. Nothing in this seed run was mass produced, the only thing that was massive during this process was the love I gave them.
Wishing all the love birds a Happy Valentine's Hay and to all the happy singles Happy Independence day.
*Oh and last but not least a HUGE shout out to Nomaad. They didn't say how generous he was and maybe he didn't want it stated, but WOW! Nomaad you help in making this place what it is and I commend you for it. The best that Karma has is coming you way, you should change your name to St. Nomaad.
