WTF is causing this?

So in an earlier post I described some issues I was having with dried brittle leaves.

https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=146310

Well its happening again. This is BlueBerryxtexas time warp from peak seeds. The seedlings are maybe two weeks old tops, and this particular one is in a mixture of 2/3 happy frog to 1/3 perlite. They have not had any nutes at all.

I have been watering them with mostly distilled water, and sometimes a mixture of my tap water and distilled water (1/4 tap to 3/4 distilled). I dont think my water is that bad (15 grains per gallon calcium, TDS =160 ppm). They get misted once in the morn and once in the evening.

I am using T5's (6 tube),and keep the light about 4-6 inches above the plant.

In the pic you can clearly see the lower leaves have lost color, and than next upper set of leaves is starting to lose color.

WTF is going on????? I have some BOG genetics I want to run but am not willing to do so until I have this problem figured out.

The water is sitting on the leaves. Do you have a fan in there?
Here is a link you might find helpful:

Yeah, I keep a fan in there....This photo was taken right after I misted them. Didnt notice the problem until afterwards.

Thing is, this happened before when I was not misting them.

As for the link, trust me Ive been through that several times and have not found anything similar to what I am seeing. If I missed something it would be helpful to have specifics.

Ive never had this issue before. Its only when I moved that this started happening. At first I thought it was my water, but these are two week old seedlings that for the most part have only seen distilled water.

im having a shoot at your distilled water, it might be the culprit ... you did use distilled water before without probs?

what are the nutes of happy frog?

It looks like a nute overload to me.

Problem is, they have not gotten ANY nutes at all in the two weeks they have popped, and the soil is cut with perlite (1/3 perlite 2/3 happy frog), so I doubt its that.

The only thing I can possibly think of is that it is calcium toxicity or lockout of other nutes by calcium because I used some of my tapwater mixed with distilled water. My tapwater calcium level is 15 grains/gallon.

In my old house I never had this problem. The water there was city water, never had an issue with it. Its only when I moved to a house that has well water that this problem started.

The previous grow where this happened I started out using all tapwater, than was told to use distilled or RO when this happened.

As for happy frog, i really doubt thats the culprit. The past two summers Ive done outdoor grows with seedlings started in happy frog with no issues.

well water can have probs like high ph and some elements unwanted .. but as your TDS of your well water is so low i doubt its a prob ..

when did you start to feed the outdoor seedlings in the happy frog ? did you water them exactly the same ?

Actualy, the outdoor seedlings were neve fed in the container. They went straight from the container into holes filled with happy frog that were than fed about 3 weeks later.

As for watering the outdoor seedlings, IIRC, we had such a rainy season I never really had to water them. Once in the ground however I did use my TW to feed them and never had any issue. But again, it rained so much that they would basically get a rainwater flush within a week of feeding.

As for the current stuff I have growing, I transplanted everything, and flushed really with with distilled water and everything is going well, even the plant in the photo is recovering, although the lower leaves are shot.

ok so you out the OD plants out directly, no preraising .. well im out of ideas atm what your prob was .. hope its gotten better now after the transplant or gone completely :)
