Well guys, after a serious security scare I am able to post some images of the outdoor Zombie Virus. Rather than go into detail, here is the text of an email I sent to Dr Dog and Black Rain about my ongoing saga.

As you know the Zombie reached 7 and a half foot! Just after this, I had a new neighbour move in who I was unsure about, so I really had no option but to prune it back to 5'. Well, within 3 weeks it had again grown back to 7 foot! What a dilemma. By this time I found out my new neighbour was ex-military, so I had no option but to prune it back again to 5 foot! Well, within 2 weeks it had again grown back to 7 foot!!!! So, I pruned it back for the third time to 5 foot.

This brings us to today.

I have now made friends with the new neighbour, but I am still unsure what his attitude to pot is. The Zombie is again 7 foot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But, I decided to take a chance and I have not pruned it back, for what would have been the 4th time lol. This plant just wants to rock and roll. It has just started to go into flower so the flowering stretch is beginning. To deal with upward growth, what I did was supercrop it and tie it down to alter the recognisable profile of a cannabis plant. I have also grown corn and tomatoes around it to shield it from his view.

Mate, despite all this heavy pruning, the plant has NOT shown any signs of stress - and keep in mind that this was all going on while temps were in high 30's.

I will take pics later this week and send them to you. I have attached one pic after the first prune so you can see how dense it is.

Cheers mate
Mark

ps Once it is in full flower I will take more pics. I just wanted to make sure you knew that your incredible genetics are fully stress tolerant.

Here are the pics after this. It broke my heart to cut the plants back but I def had no choice. They are beginning to flower now so more updates will come. Plants are again at seven foot and still gaining height. Damn this strain wants to rock and roll.

I get to see these pics thanks to Moose in High Res Goodness, and it is grea being able to see them that way.

I have been following this obviously since he started, and nothing makes me happier to see my email client progress bar moving slowly while downloading those huge pictures

Here are the latest pics taken today.

Pls understand that these Zombies have been cut back 3 times and have been super-cropped like hell to try and contain the height.

As you will see in the pics, they are again seven foot 6 inches!!!!!!!!!!! WTF!...and the flowering stretch is still continuing. I am expecting them to end up at over 9 feet by the time flowering is finished, but that is ok now as my security scare has diminished somewhat.

So folks, despite this brutal treatment in cutting it back 3 times, and Aussie temperatures nearing 40C (or higher, considering they were against a white wall), this strain has shown NO sign of stress whatsoever.

Also, check out the girth of the stem which is feeding the upper canopy.

Temps are still in low 30C's, and cooling, but flowering is well under way and I am delighted with the results. The upper heads sort of look like a mad Hydra lol

Hope you enjoy the update. I could not think of a better test for the integrity of this strain, other than to put it through what I did. Like I said before, kudos to the breeders for a rock solid strain. Takes all the punishment you can give it and just keeps powering on.

Yep Doc, I reckon the structure showing now is gonna produce some HUGE Zombie colas. I can't wait actually - this has been an epic journey to get to this stage.

Here are a few more pics after I tidied up some of the excess growth caused by the extensive super-cropping and pruning. To give you an idea of height, the bottom of the window sill is 6 foot 6 inches, and the Zombie reaches another foot above that! Still getting higher as flowering progresses. I had to trim it out again as it was so dense I was worried I may have issues with mould once the expected monster buds form - I needed to get more air flow in. Simply an amazing plant
