Medicating Dogs

This isn't just arthritis (partly it is). He had knee surgery on both legs, they replaced a tendon (can't remember which one) or ligament with a piece of nylon filament. I used asprin with my older Golden who has since passed on, and it did work quite well for normal aches and pains that older dogs experience.

I personally think you are taking very good care of your dogs. As an alternative, may I suggest a product, 'Dog-Gone Pain'. There is a pet company called Jeffers that carries amonth supply for $40.00. But you can make those biscuits liver flavored. Also, 2 fishoils at night do wonders.

I was doing hospice care for an 18 year old dog. It all helps their quality of life. Yeah! Ganja dog treats!

I had a Lab that I used to take to a dog chiropractor, she was a vet that became an animal chiro. She travels our state doing mainly dogs but some horses. It made a world of difference in the old lab, unfortunately old age caught up he passed last june still miss him greatly. I would only give my dog asprin thats made for a dog, something about the wy its presented or the formula.
