Hey i missed this, very interesting setup. I've been seeing more and more people doing innovative things with tents. Nice looking plants to boot, i'll tag along.

HEY. I like it. Looking good. i like ur B plant the best. =D

So what you're saying is you like your chicks short, fat, and sticky?!? ;)

I think I may end up with two keepers, B being one of them. The yield on this one is going to be tiny, but I'd be very curious to see how she'd look with 2-3 weeks veg time, instead of 5-6 days. She seems to be the slowest maturing, so she will go 65 for sure. Pheno A looks nearly done, and I'm hoping that she's a 55 day girl (that would fraking rock). Oh, and she sparkles more than a stripper.

The mama seems to be responding fairly well to LST as well.

Thanks for popping in!

I slowly migrated to the dual tents after a long, painful, and costly battle with a DIY cabinet. I'm pretty happy with my current setup, and once I get the A/C mounted, I will be thrilled.

----

So I ran an ounce of Sour D through my grinder over a few weeks, very gently sifting each run. I ended up with a bunch of this

So I decided to try shoe hash this time, and I'm happy to report that it worked out pretty fraking good.

=)

That shit kicked my ass nicely. Unfortunately, even being gently, the dry sift out of the four piece grinders is fairly impure, so no bubble or melt. I do think this would make EXCELLENT material for a mendocino blunt, though it would require a lot more material than I had. In fact, using this method, you'd probably have to grind a half pound of sugary shit to have enough.

But for the time being, it was a nice tasty treat.

The sad part of all this is that my sour diesel is now gone. And that's NEVER a good thing.

Hey, Bork I have a GWS that I just put into flower a week ago, now where it may be of interest to you is that it was vegged for more then 5weeks. It's just a side project but I can post a picture and you can compare with your ladies maybe it would give you an idea about appearance after a longer veg time.

I saw your update a few hours ago but have been busy throwing up since then. Yay being sick...

That pheno A looks seriously tasty. How long til harvest you recon? How are trichs looking?

Thanks for sharing man :)

Edit: Is that a seed I see on the third pic from the top?

I decided not to picture jack your thread, if you want a comparison just check out my album titled "Side Grow"

Hey there, no worries, in fact....here she is:

Looking strong! She was grown from seed yeah? Can't wait to see how she turns out!

Do you have a growlog up? If not, get started!

Next run will definitely have multi-week veg (not 5 though :) )

Thanks for stopping in!

Ugh, get better.soon! I'd rather go to the dentist than throw up, seriously may be my least fucking favorite thing to do in the whole world.

Today is day 51, and I checked the trichs on pheno A for the first time today. Still plenty of clear trichs, I'd say 50/50 clear/cloudy, it took a long while to find an amber.

I'll check her daily from here on out. We'll see if she's done at 55, but I may still run her an additional 7-10 days, would rather run it too long the first time. Make sure she doesn't herm in late flower.

I'm on daily nanner patrol :)

I am beginning to wonder if B & C will be ready in 65 though, as the tops are still very immature (though the lower buds, especially on C are further along)

I think what's in that pic is just a swollen seed bracht (I think that's what they're called). I freaked out a lot on the first grow when I saw these, but the only seeds in the buds were immature and near the nanners.

Oh, first root spotted on a clone (though it is pheno C, but still, a good sign!) today! Day 12 since they were put in the cloner (after 4 days of stasis in the fridge crisper drawer).

Update time!

/packs an elbow in the vape with bud & kief

Another two weeks have passed, and if all goes well, the whole kuit'n'kaboodle should be chopped and trim before the next update (all except BB, which is a week behind the others).

So where are we at today.....A-C are on day 57 today, BB is on day 50.

Yesterday, I spotted the first nanner, on Pheno A, unfortunately. I've done a thorough check again today, and have yet to spot any more, but I am on patrol!

Trichs on A are about 60-70% cloudy, 20% clear, 10% amber or so. Tentatively plan on taking her down on Friday (Day 60), though I may yet let her go 65 this first run.....

Though I may even chop it tomorrow, cause daddy is about to run out of reefer! And that I just can't abide!

Not having good success with the clones at all!

Pheno C (the one plant I wasn't planning on keeping, of course) rooted ALL THREE CLONES within two weeks! But we are now on day 19, and the others are starting to look pretty gnarly.

I transplanted ONE of the C clones, and killed the two others, and took three more A cuts to replace them. Then I did a mega-trim job on the A mama to get her bonsai-ish.

See, I found a weakness in my plane to use a clone from the previous harvest as the mother for the next harvest....the bitches won't clone in time! I really don't want any downtime between crops, so it looks like a mom is going to be necessary.

I'll still use one of the current clones to become the next mother, because I don't think this one has much life left in her.

After I finished the trim job on her, I realized I probably should have replaced some of the gnarlier clones with new ones, but too late. Ah well.

Since the BB is going to go long, I am hoping there will be enough time left anyways to get a mono-crop of pheno A going, but there exists the possibility that it may be another mixed harvest next time. Live and learn.

Oh, I did chop one of the smaller buds off Pheno A today to dry. One, because I'm going to be hurting in another day or so, and two, because I want to test a different trim technique.

Last harvest, I trimmed right after chopping. However, I was displeased with much of the result. A lot of "grass" or "hay" smell remained.

Of course, the genetics were unknown, and there were other factors, but a lot of people seem to favor drimming BEFORE the final trim. So that's what I'm trying with this first bud. I'm hoping the trimming will be easier when it's dryer as well.

Alright, well, these next two weeks are key. Hopefully, we'll be mostly wrapped up by the next upate. In the meanwhile, here's a ton of pics to keep you entertained.

Iz looking delicious, yeeees. Pheno A seems to ripening up nicely. They are some short FAT ladies :D Kinda reminds me of my SweetCindy clones from way back.

Sorry to hear about the nanners. I have my best looking Satori out of the tent, right next to me. Gonna pluck nanners of when my hangover subsides...

Not a problem at all.

I chopped A!

I am out of weed, hahaha. =) But she was ready, other than a few new pistils, she was ripe. I chopped her on day 60, I'm sure she can go 65 no problem, and I only found the one nanner, and I caught it early, so I don't expect seeds at all (unless there were any I didn't see.) I gave her ~36 hrs darkness before chopping her.

Then, I trimmed two of the colas wet, and I'm letting the rest dry before trimming.

I had some unpleasant smell issues on my first grow that I'm concerned may be due to trim technique (though I think it was a genetic issue), so I'm experimenting. I -am- fairly sure that the leaves will slow down the drying quite a bit, leading to a better end product. I am HOPING that isn't the case, because I have a feeling that trimming dry is going to suuuuuuuuck. We'll see.

I don't think there is any chance that B or C will be done in 65 days, whihc is Wednesday, no chance. I think they'll be in the range of 70-75 before they're done. And now B is having some funky thing going on, the leaves are dying in a strange way that DOESN'T look like it's from the plant dying. I'll take a pic in the next day or two and show you what I mean.

I don't want to add anything this late in flower but I'd like to know what it is at lesat.

The B clone in BioBizz is doing peachy and I think I'll give her one more heavy feeding, then start flushing her with water and molasses for the duration.

great work ther mr!!!
wow and on that size

great

Thanks Ona! :)

I have to ask... What ARE you smoking?

Urk...you saw that, huh? :(

Hahaha, okay, well, in my defense, A: It was a legitimate scientific experiment, and B: As stated, I'm out of pot, hahaha.

I tried a vaporizer poo joint.

It didn't taste as horrible as its smell would imply it would, so that was a pleasant surprise. And there was an effect.

But I don't think I'd do it again, and I pray I'm never put in the position, hahahaha.

Anyways, I had picked a nug early, and dried it enough that I could vape it the last few days (even picked early, and tasting too "green", I think Pheno A is imy Mona Lisa ;) ), so that horrible chapter is behind me now, hahaha.

Giving it to a friend to make butter with. And soon, hopefully I wonm't need to recycle it at all, due to bi-monthly trim production.

Edit: Clones are sucking ASS. Only the C's rooted (all three cuts), NOTHING else has rooted. :(

Some of the clones still look fine, and I think those will sprout any day now, but the rest I'm going to replace in the next day or two.

This will set me back a bit, but the current run still has several weeks to go, so no biggie.

Haha, whattup hater!?! ;)

Hells yeah I've got a mama! Unfortunately, I've had no luck getting the first round of cuts to root.

Going to try another batch of 4 or so in the next few days.

Hahaha word I am a hater! Been told that about music too hahaha

Do you suck at cloning? Please tell me you do or is my fear of GHS making there strains unable to be cloned true???

As a matter of fact, I think I DO suck at cloning, hahaha.

I know I butchered several of the clones that aren't rooting (but not all of them)

Some I cut badly, most are too short and are having a hard time reaching the reservoir, plus this is a new, unproven cloner.

All the current crop (and the moms) are clones from the seed plants, so they can clone (although this was the first time taking a clone from a clone, but I can't imagine that's the issue). And the current batch were poorly put into stasis for 4 days (I was pretty careless with that whole procedure).

Trying to work up the oomph to do a new batch tonight, but I just don't think I have it in me. I think it'll have to wait till tomorrow. Hopefully, when I go check in a minute, they'll all have bumps as I won't have to worry about it. :p
