Not trying to start any boo boo, but all the growers I know up here are using roots organic soil and House and Garden Aqua flakes. They have the best bud around, intense smell, great flavor and taste. Plants never looked unhealthy...

...BB~ Ca could interfere with K(your marginal chlorosis on older leaves), B, Mg.

Holy cow! Your in coco right? That should be 6/9. Get hardwater micro. i use it and my tap is outrageously high in Ca and junk. Your not dealing with a Ca vs ?? lockout, they're just hungry. Note the N def. Pretty much the only thing that slows down N is too much K. And you have a K def.

Thanks hazy I value your input, though I'm fairly certain that if I fed this sativa strain at 6ml/9ml per gallon they would be burnt badly, some of the shoots outgrowing the light show N toxicity claw. When I started growing the strain I gradually upped the nutrient levels until they showed slight tip burn/claw then backed off a tad. Yeah I'm using coco, I have been using the hardwater micro, my tap CaCO3 is ~ 200mg/L and the TDS is > 400mg/L, your tap may be as hard but possibly has a different makeup.

Well the problem has slowed down ALOT, if not pretty much stopped...Only about 2 weeks to go till chop time....All my other plants are lookin great.... Hazy...So yoru sayin Gh flora series really shouldnt be used in FFOF soil? i know what you mean about all the micros that are already in that soil.. so i see how adding the GH micro could throw things off....So you know, All my girls that are vegging right now, are not being fed any nutrients while vegging...just repotting with fresh FFOF soil into bigger pots until they finally go in 3 gallon pots.....just watering with PH'd water...and a little cal-mag....so that will stop alot of unecessary (sp?) salt build-up.....and when they go into 12/12, i will be feeding every other watering with about 800 ppms of micro/bloom....and a little cal-mag... WHat do you think about this new aproach? OR....Do you think i should go with a different fert. line up, and if so, which brand? Thanks for your help Hazy....Im always willing to change things to try and better my garden...Bumble Buddy...IMO it does kind of look like they need a little N...starting to yellow a little early.....Good luck man....

Hey man. I've had this problem in FF:OF. First off don't add so much perlite, OF has enough perlite in it AS IS. I usually add some too, but nothing like 1:1 bag to bag.

Anyways, it looks like pH lockout, and you can't solve it unless you transplant, but you're 5 weeks in, so maybe just let her finish and start over.

What's the pH of your runoff?

Anyways, I agree with what others said, you're in an organic medium feeding chelated chemical nutes, which is kind of contradictory as you're killing any beneficials in the soil with those nutes and you may get better results from going organic.

Anyways, in the future add 1 1/2 - 2 Tablespoon of finely crushed dolomite lime to every 1 GALLON of your medium. That fixed it for me.

R420- yeah, that might work, but why not get nutes made for soil. But since you have them the gh nutes, why not use coco instead?

So you think coco is the way to go over soil? I have started using powdered dolomite lime to the FFOF soil... I did not do anything to the girls that are so close to chop, but all my other plants, i transplanted into larger pots and added lime...

I need to do some research on coco ... but from the little bit i have read about, it does seem pretty simple, and the best thing is the coco bricks are pretty cheap...I suppose the coco would not get a salt buildup as easy, or it would be easier to flush..ofcourse, im doing everything i can to completely avoid this in the future...but yeah im very interested in coco....Is that what you are running with Hazy?

Just to update...The spotting completely stopped....Im harvesting the skunk plants this week sometime.....im almost completely positive a salt buildup caused this....If this is happening to you: You might need to up your pot size and go easy on Chem ferts....Less really is more....I have Trainwreck..OG 18.. Kushberry.. Kandy kush...Chiesel..Lemon skunk.. Hashberry...White Widow... all in 12/12 and they look wonderful..very healthy with nice flowers developing.... a week before 12/12 i transplanted them into 3 gallon pots with new soil/worm castings and feed them every 2 waterings..Feed water water feed... and when i do feed with ferts, i try to keep it around 800 ppms of bloom ferts....and during veg, i use rich soil so i dont have feed with ferts at all, thus also helps out with battling salt buildup....

On a side note I have mixed up some nice dry fert organic soil and is currently "cooking".....using that method there is no salt buildup to worry with.... Ill probably use it for my outdoor grows and maybe a couple side by side grows indoors....for this super soil mix, you just add water till harvest, besides maybe a few waterings with teas....Not sure what any of this dribble has to do with anything, so thanks to evereyone that helped me out with this mess...I hope everyone has a great next harvest and be well...Thanks.

Cool beans, RN420. Glad to hear that your babies are looking better. Good luck on the organic endeavor. Thinking of doing a little bit of that myself. Peace, bro.
