Just chiming in - first time on this forum. I'm a med patient in RI just doing my own simple growing. I've also got a camp up in Maine too, so I'm lucky in that both are in med states and Maine's law explicitly states they honor other state cards, which I have.
I guess I jumed in at the right time - just received some bubble bags and am looking forward to my first attempt at making some bubble.
I'm only using about 30 grams of bud. From what I've read they say to expect 10-15% return, so 3-4 grams of bubble. Is that what you guys see?

this will be my first run ever. I've got some ak47 F2 bud and I want to target it for hash.
I believe I'll have a little extra bud and don't want it to just sit and get old so I figure I'll try making some hash.
would I be better served making butter or oil or a tincture? I've only smoked, not processed, so I'm open to any ideas from experienced folks

Get the bags, they're a good investment.
Here's what I do: I do 2 runs of 6-8 minutes. You can go 15m and yld more, but it won't be as good a product.
Then w/ the waste water and veg-material, I boil it down slowly for several hrs. along w/ a stick of butter or two.
Strain it out and leave it in the fridge overnight. The butter will rise, voila! buddah!

I bought the Voprsprung set of 5 five gallon bags, got my buckets, just need my mixer.
I was going to agitate in a separate bucket first and then pour that through the bags in a second bucket. Heard it saves wear and tear on the bags and can be more effective.
Also heard that using all of the bags can reduce output and quality. Ever tried not using all? I think people say to drop the 220u bag and just go with the 165u first.

got my mixer now, but not sure what the hell to do because of the small amount (relatively) that I'm using . . .bags, coffee filter, oh the decisions!
And as I type this I'm wondering why the hell this shirt smells like shit - oh yeah, I was wearin' it when I made my soil mix!!!! It's composted cow shit that it smells like!

Hey guys, newb to the forums. I never realized how many growers we had in New England. I'm from the North Shore area in Massachusetts and was wondering if anyone from this area knows of any hydroponics shops in a relatively close distance without having to trouble outside of Boston (my cars on the way out)

i suggest liquid sun mainly. they have a holyoke, mass and pawtucet RI locations. and harvest moon has one in foxboro ( right near the stadium)

only place i can think of is green life garden supply in billerica or tewksberry i forget which town exactly, it is kind of hard to find

The funniest thing I read in the paper was on the map showing which towns were gonna get hit the hardest and around the nj/ny/dc area it just said "crippling effects" what does that mean? I just started to laugh made I think they made it sound more dramatic than it'll be.

I don't often post, but I wanted to give a thumbs up to Liquid Sun. I shop in Holyoke and they know their shit and are helpful. HTG did also just open a huge store in Shrewsbury I hear which is likely closer to you than LS.

Yeah, yeah things are going along great out here.Gardens are bangin' out the bud, the icy wind is blowin' across the bay and I'm not going near a boat for awhile....Looks like we lost a most valued member, I know how that goes, I'm always in some shit or other. I nearly man handled a conservation douche yesterday, I thought for a minute that this might be worth the 10k for the court but said f-it and opted for a heated argument. Now that I'm out of hot water, I'm hell on wheels but no need to be cuffed, been there, it's over-rated. Lovin' all the gardens around here and LUNE if you're out there, my word is SOLID my friend. Stay high and throw in a few more plants for me......
Otto, I did pretty good! Problem is, I broke my clay extruder on the 1st plug.
Usually only have enough for 'pucks', the plug did me in. White/Honey White is the plug.The Kif I turned into 'shoe hash' (forground).
Fluffy pile on rgt is the F13.

I could run close to that - I have a custom cab slightly less than 4x8 (3.3x7.3) with 2x600w bulbs. I run it closed with an AC in the wall & a CO2 bucket. I also lose a little more floor space to dehumidifier. And I'm only about 6'5" in height - that'd be the biggest issue for me using 5 gallon buckets I guess.
