These lamps are unavailable in the UK so the only course of action to purchase them would be through and importer/exporter like International Lamps or via the internet, or direct from Philips US."
Well thanks for that! Have contacted International lamps to see what they say. More Later.

Already had a bulb from these fellas. No problem, delivered fine, works lovely. Just dont want to order from US and pay that extra shipping.

spoke to greens horticulture and told them they would make a kiling if they started importing the correct cmh bulbs - they said it was something they were already looking into
i just ordered one from the advancedtechlighting usa link from the start of the big cmh sticky thread in the 'growroom designs and equipment' forum. 250 horizontal + postage came to a nifty (£50) so i was quite pleasantly surprised.

yes it took a while to arrive but i think i was a little unlucky. im liking the results with it - more resin and terpenes i think - and i dont see any reduction in yield so far...
