Help Me Name 2 New Strains

ok, a little back story is necessary. about two years ago, a little bird was running a female of outlaw's dpdXmental. at the same time, the same little bird was doing some "controlled" bredding projects using JLP's isolation chamber in the same room as the sensi females. after pulling the dpdxmental (which should have been unpollinated), 2 seeds were found. these two seeds were labeled as (dpdxmental)Xunknown fatheer and were disregarded. normally, these would have been tossed. at the time, i assumed the dpdxmental had tossed a few nanners and that these two beans were from a self pollination (making them unuseable for breeding, etc). for some odd reason, it was decided to pop the two beans and give them a shot. it has since become VERY obvious that there is no way they were selfed and instead, one was pollinated by a godberry father and the other by a biko father (these were the two strains that were being used in breeding experiments at the time). due to the extremely long nature of the cross' name, it's been decided to give them names of their own. should be posting pics, smoke reports, and thorough info once they finish but i figured i'd let the community help me in naming these two beauties.

brainstorm away guys. should have some pics in the next week or two. i had considered "god is mental" for the godberry cross but i'm thinking that might be a little long.

yes he stated that and said that the genetics make it to long to be a resonable thing to say thats why he's askin for a name. A cross can be a strain aka clone only

Naming a clone is fine, but a cross doth not a strain make. Either way, a responsible breeder will retain and pass on all information regarding the cross with any seeds and/or clones that leave his/her hands.

this is 110% true. i want it to be clear, i am not a breeder (ie someone who profits from making crosses). i am in no way trying to muddle or confuse. if i pass on beans to someone, i always give them the short name we use, and the actual lineage. it is easier to have a shortened name when labeling or when discussing. it's kinda tough to have to call it (double purple dojaXmental floss)X(god budXbubbleberry) every single time. these will both be used in future projects and will be labeled with their proper genetic lineage. it's just a mouthfull to try and use the full name every time. normally breeders will give each cross a different name or a reference number. i prefer to give them names so that i can personally remember them. if i used some sort of random code, we would be calling it pfg-458 or something like that. i find using names makes it easier to remember individual crosses.

i was thinking about maybe using LOST inspired names. i might call the "godberry" cross "jacob" and the other one i was thinking of naming "dharma". i'm still open for suggestions and i appreciate everyone's help. hope to have some pics soon and that might help.

until i know the flavor/traits of the smoke, i tend to go w/ generic names for shorthand

go with 'betty and veronica' or 'lucy and ethel' or something similar until you've gotten a chance to puff on it. when you're nice and glazed from your handywork, more often than not...a more fitting name will just come to you.

I would have to say HADES, the God of the underworld (in greek mythology), as he is often depicted in purple, and is the most mental of the Gods.
