As i said, my crosses are not average, nor is my knowldege. So sad that again i have to defend myself to the truly uninformed...hope u guys figure out that u are pretty rude before you really alienate or embarass yourselves...im not worried about me. Im still laughing....flushing!!! Why not include curing? Confusing, and im talking about neither, both of which im quite well versed in. I was not referring to mere chlorophyll degradation, or conversion of chlorophyll to pheophytins, etc....im talking about co-pigmentation (a much more complicated concept) and why and how it might co-relate to more flavor ( a specific flavor that seems to suggest more psychoactivity) in certain strains..just because this is MJ, some folks need to get a grip...it is a plant, and follows all the same laws and rules. Pretty sure there is not a single person on this site with MORE knowledge or experience with plants, and i know that is saying a lot...soome respect would be nice, but is not expected, but if anybody else up here holds multiple phd's, teaches pedology, botany, genetics, and organic chemistry at a top university....please, let me know. we can have a much more detailed conversation if anyone cares for it, but it is really boring to those who dont care, which i had assumed were most on this thread (Id be happy to start a plant science thread and answer questions, just didnt think this was the place). I didnt want to get too technical, that is all.....why is there such a pissing contest here?? sorta not the energy ud think all this KIND herb would generate....so...wow...flushing...really.....hehe, wish i could share this thread with some of my grad students....

a tko on himself perhaps....cant get it out of my system, its got me wondering.......how much flushing does a thai man have to do to get his chocolate thai? u can flush nutrients making it hard for a plant to produce chlorophyll, ok..not that you even need to because as in nature, (no flushing there, and still some outdoor is more amber, brownish...genetics not environment for the most part) because the plant knows what to do and when. but u cant flush a plant to make it change it genetic coloring tendencies...there are herbs that grow with more amber and browns....please understand this. It is about chemical makeup, not availability of nutrients...i hate that i even need to assert this, but after the props he got for challenging my post (why do folks feel the need....) i thought the info should at least need to be accurate for a TKO! I will keep my posts shorter...that is my adhd..sorry, i can even stay off this thread...but it did have alot about p91 which i feel inclined and have the expertise to speak on. I get bashed on every post. Consider this...i did make p91, like it or not. That was over 20 years ago...so hmmmm, that is a lot of experience, and then add 15 years at school...and the fact i never stopped growing...and then i get called a liar, and told im lacking experience. Why...can we go back to the topic at hand?.....i can go somewhere else, if that is what needs to happen..does everyone here feel that way?..but that doesnt change the accuracy of my information is all....please feel free to not like me, but dont let it get in the way of the truth....

ogP91fam - Dude....... you keep opening yourself up for criticism. Lay back for a while, regroup, and show us some of your work. A gram of experience is worth more than a kilo of knowledge. My advice is to either start your own thread, about you or what you know, or help us build on this one. Nobody gives a whisker bisquit if you invented cannabis we just want to see how well you can grow it. You'll probably never meet anyone here anyway so what does it matter if we believe your word or not? Don't take the internet personally, it's full of misinformation.
Mito/Praise - I'm with ya on Pheno(s) 4 & 9. These are @ the top of my keeper list at the moment. It's so hard to toss genetics. I'll give them a good three runs and then make a choice.

in the days i grew p91 i used mostly soil-less. Also, rockwool, but not as much at first. My soiless recipe usually tended to be 1/3 spagnum, 1/3 perlite or pumice and 1/3 vermiculite. Most of the nutrients i used at the time were the orange label organic powdered nutreints that Mohsen at Foothill Hydroponics has been making for decades. I used superthrive as well. And Budswel yellow label in flowering. Then, we got excited and switched to foxfarm which killed a lot of stuff becuase we werent using it correctly.....i could call mohsen and find out his nut. weight percentages for his formulas as i do not recall them now....but regardless....this was just a jump off point...i was always changing and adapting the mix.....details like this really dont tell anything though...IMHO...but i have plenty of them if youd really like....
