My ER seeds are currently germinating, thought id ask the question here instead of starting another thread, which, no doubt, there is alot of, but, I have 3 gallon pots (I think!) that I had laying around for a few years, I never used them, is this too big to plant the seed in straight away? or should I be potting up. Cheesey was nice enough to get back to me and said I should start them in the big pot's but I'm always looking to get an opinion seconded. thanks.

IMO you can definitely plant directly into that. I have planted into even larger amounts of soil with good results. Potting up works and people do that with good results too. It's really up to your time and resources. Just remember to plant them pretty shallow.

also, another question, I wanna germ 3 reg seed's, I may not get any females at all and I'm just growing them to see how they perform, but, if I end up with a female, I could veg for longer than normal and then as my autos start to mature, would it be alright to hit 12/12 for their last 2 weeks or so to accommodate the reg strain?.

surely if the plants grown as tall as it's gonna grow, it shouldn't really affect much?.

question to anyone willing to give an answer.

I use an 18/6 mh/400 over some AFers that fill in space well with a durban poison right now turning to 12/12 mh. The AFers wont suffer from the drop to 12/12 for a while as they move to an hps20/4 anyways when theres some spaces. As the 12/12 is on for @8wks mh ,the mh space is a nice transitional 12/12mh @2wks between sprouted under 24/0flouros and going 20/4hps...they end up finishing well.
12/12mh for 2-3wks in the AF midlife has shown to stretch them taller before basking them to a bulky finish.

I think you need something like 50 posts to do so. But it is really dead in there.

I had been asking for the last two years for a AF subforum and never got one because AF's were not yet important. So I made the Social Group and right after that when they saw that it had the highest member rate finally gave in and made this subforum.

The 4Ways I have still left arent tapping anymore,dried up so long .....but the 4ways X BS/ML are my favs......them 4ways have been my chosen push forward into a mixedAF for anyone I gifted some to.....would be kinda cool to see a pic of 1 of them 4wayXAK AF .

Good combo.......

I was very happy with both and plan on starting up things again here directly and the first on the block is the G13 cross. I'll be able to start 100-150 at a time now and can really wrap up work on a few strains much faster now.

Im adding my AF strain to the list. Its a Mango bag seed i got 2 AFs once been flowering close to 85 days now and still white pistils and mad clear trichromes. i cant wait to see the clouds to amber. not really a efficient strain in length of flowering but for my first plant to bloom im expecting a easy 2 O's and she got the wonderful titty wiggle going on. hoping its a nice smoke. ill get pics up soon.
