In my opinion, I would say that the stronger the Sativa genetics of the plant - like a properly grown Haze - to me that would be what I call the "strongest" type of pot.
Reason being, I cannot handle the very strong Sativa's (anymore at least). So if I were to smoke a real good Sativa, it'd probably make me have an Anxiety/Panic Attack.
So for me, I consider something like that to be the "strongest pot". I say that because I cannot handle smoking it. Anything I smoke that produces a high that causes me to get short of breath/panicky feeling to the point where I am literally unable to take another hit (due to the effects of that strain of Sativa) I would call very strong pot.
But just because I consider that to be very potent/strong weed doesn't mean that I'd want to grow it.
There's been like 2 times where I ordered a strain/seeds for the sole reason that they had the supposed "Highest" (or one of the highest) THC levels. Both strains were much more on the Sativa side than Indica.
Anyway, I grew both of them out & half of my friend's thought that they were some of the best(most potent/tasty/super smelly) buds they ever had. Then a few of my other friends didn't like the high at all).
Honestly, I didn't like the high either - I just bought them because of all the hype.
My point is, like most others already said, is that you have to just try some of the strains out there (starting with some tried & true seeds/strains) and decide what your favorite is.
First, I'd start out by deciding if you want a plant thats Indica, Sativa or a mix of both. If you've had enough experience with smoking Indica dominant OR Sativa dominant strains, you know the difference between a nice sativa high compared to a nice indica type high.
(If your unsure of the differences in highs, just ask & I can explain further).
Then decide what is most important as far as Taste/Smell/Yield/Looks(like if you wanted a purple strain etc), again, as well as the type of high your after.
If you decide these things above, it makes it much easier to narrow down the selection of strains you'd want to choose from.
You also want to factor in your experience level. If this is your first time growing, I would Highly Recommend a more popular strain/something thats been around long enough that you know your getting good, strong stable genetics. You also want a plant that will be forgiving when it comes to Nutrients/Feeding.
One strain I would recommend, especially if your new/fairly new to growing, is the Northern Lights#5 x Blueberry (or most any cross with NL in it - even plain old NL#5 from Sensi). Its SUPER easy to grow, has a great yield/taste/smell & looks amazing - turning all shades of purple with a drop in Temp. during the end of budding.
It has a nice, relaxing & talkative high. It's not the absolute most potent strain out there but your almost guaranteed a nice crop (even if your a newbie).

Best weed in the universe: chemical space alien x space bomb (this is otherwise known as g13, the goverment orginal found the cut at from the alien space ship crash at rosewell new mexico, eventualy some got a cut out of area 51), this strain can be ever 30% THC but is no more, maybe NASA will find some with the new space shuttle they are building......

My favourite is White Widow (known as Black Widow now) by Mr Nice Seeds/Shantibaba. It is covered in THC crystals, tastes beautiful, stinks and it yields well. Tolerance levels..........Hmmmm....it has happened with some cannabis strains that I have built up a tolerance to them, but the Black Widow...FUCK ME! That shit is the mo'fo'in shit! Never built up no tolerance to that dank ass shit-Grew it for 3 shows and everyone on my manor loved it, made plenty of peeps happy! Give it a try.

Damn! I'm from europe, I heard on a underground a forum that a hacker got into the us goverment system and found out the soul purpose of the mission was to find the infamous g13 plant (chemical space alien x space bomb) . Looks like obama's going back on his softly softly approach to cannabis

my neville Haze IBL f2/f3/f4 totally stable with mango/citrus flavor is the best weed of the planet. I'm searching for something better since two years but once I grow new genetic bought on the net I cross it with my neville haze for best result !!!

temunator - I would definitely have to agree that the ORIGINAL version of the Cinderella99-From The Brother's Grimm Seed Bank/Breeder - is for sure up there in my top 5 best strains. The original from brothers grimm has to be some of the best tasting pot I have ever had;Its also 1 of my favorite smelling strains (the only way I can describe it is that its like the best smelling candy in the world lol). Plus its super potent and I used to yield 2 oz's without much effort at all - grown very well, it'll easily yield 3-4 OZ's iondoor with enough light.
I have tried 1 maybe 2 of the C99 strains available now & it was nowhere near as good as the Original was.
I think thats why its called the holy grail by some - because its a perfect strain for people looking for some super strong herb for themselves AND its a GREAT Commercial strain, Yielding 2 Oz a plant (so 20 plants will give you 40 Oz's easy as long as you know how to grow) or even more if you have theright grow environment, with all the correct temps, humidity, co2, feeding dosages & enough Watts per Sq. Ft.
Plus the smell is out of this world, as well as the taste + the bag appeal is great & the buds just glisten in the light & ooze resin. I Literally don't think that I've ever seen anyone look at a bag of c99 and noot buy it LOL.

Did you stabilize your NH yourself? If so man that is a hot commodity. I've never grown it because I've read it could be one of the best but required a lot of hunting thru beans to find the right pheno.
What are the specs on your IBL.. flower time, stretch etc?
IMO get a pack of Bogs lifesaver while available. Also get a pack of Dutchgrowns joint project with Rez,Killer Queen Redux while they are available as well. I could keep going on and on and on making suggestions. But those 2 are sure to make your senses very happy.
any well grown organic herb that motivates me and circulates through my chakras and brings a smile to my face-most definitely a skunk/haze/kali cross!
