LED Girl...You're supposed to enlighten people...not criticize and laugh at them. If an individual has you at your wits end of being patient...saying nothing is a far better practice and promotion of business what you posted to irish.

Who made the decision to hook him up with the self-promoting product promotion? That's who you should be being critical toward.

I call people on their bull shit when they are running around the web on other forums doing nothing but talking crap about our product. Sure he doesn't do it here as much because he knows he'll get the boot, but it's on 4 other forums. I'm also not laughing, I simply point out things that are obvious. Irish has SEVERAL LED grows under his belt, yet has worse yield #'s than some beginners using our lights. I'm not going to give him encouragement when he never gave our lights a fair chance (real test), and he was so EAGER to get yet another free light from another LED company, prior to the test even being completed (and yeah, he made 10+ pages about this other company on other forums in this very thread, prior to the results ever being posted from our light or PS). What good will my encouragement do when he's decided to give this other BS companies light a FULL and FAIR test, using training methods or a screen, and going after maximum yield? So the ONLY light he's willing to do a true test with, is just another freebie thrown at him to buy some publicity by a gimmick company who steals their design from companies like Dutch Green and myself. He's not working with either company who he's worked with in the past, and certainly not following through with his previous commitment that whoever's light won he would do a max yield grow with... He's a sell out. Sorry if you can't handle the truth, but I'm a no BS individual... I'm as blatant as they come.

GLH website looks about as fake as the HSS one. So they just slapped a buunch of leds n a case that was designed 5 years ago and thats the breaking technology? pffft.

Whos next maybe a 1000 watt growl unit in an even longer case!! lol!!!

thier not designing the light, there just making the samwich a submarine... a submarine sure to sink that is.. Which one of you Smoked up that idea?

I back HGL cause they work. Anyone whos cant see this is blinding therself. Even if they want to say the units are not quite to the bulbs standards there compared to, pound for pound they all claim the same thing and cammies works best. If it wasent for Pro-Source adjusting there specturm because cammi posted the right ones, their light would suck even worse. The prosource would be second place to cammie's, the others, ehh there junk from what I have seen.

Can't wait to watch 420 dub their own sponsor, HSS a dud lol! Nice Green LEDs in thier. Who Smoked up that idea?.

CAN NOT WAIT!!!

If you don't agree prove it, cause chances are I have already seen your LED unit fail elsewhere...
If you are goning to say something about a light bulb, keep it..

600W grow ended up with 540g? That's Shurley not anything the HGL can't do per watt...

That post did raise my eybrow though, even though they apear like a knock off light, straight from hong kong there may be SOME tech behind it.

There is logic behind HGL's led placment, no other company does this.

The others seem to just be adjusting spectrums and adding more led in one spot..

Wish I could give HGL props for the special case buuut HSS did beat them to the special casing, not that it does anything but look like a very nice party light for an Iphone dock.

But back to LEDs...

How many more PAR watts would be available to the plants if the diodes weren't shrouded under those lil plastic domes?

And...are those domes required for them to light, or is it there as a safety measure?

The domes are the lens that controls the dispersion pattern of the LED. Lenses range from 140 degree to 120, 90, 75, 60, 45, 30, etc... A LED without a lens would emit light at 180 degrees, reducing the intensity of our product by over 6x. A 60 degree lens is 4x brighter than a 120 degree lens, and no lens is very dim. It's the difference between a flashlight on it's widest setting or on it's narrowest setting if you're having trouble visualizing. Anyhow, I do not know the exact percentage of light that might be diffused to some extent by the lens. I do know that without the lens, your plants would not be able to use the light created from our units anywhere near as efficiently due to the lack of penetration.

WOW

4 126w panels for a 4'x4' grow space?

Thats a lot of cake!

LED is far more efficient at growing plants watt for watt, but it still requires a decent amount of wattage to cover larger areas. Normally a 1000W HPS would fill a 4x4 space.
