So if I understand this correctly, I can expect roughly 1 gram per watt? I know someone will say there is a person in a far distant land that has achieved 1.7 gram per watt but from what I have seen with my two eyes the realistic yield is .8 to 1 gram per watt. I just have to clear this up before I decide what MFG I want to try out. Its just really hard sifting through all the claims and making a wise decision on which light to pick. Any recommendation Irishboy? You seem to have done a lot of testing.

Irish can't make up his mind lol, probably not the best person to ask. For example, he stated that whatever LED company won the test, he would purchase more lights from to fill his garden and post his next grow online. Prior to the test even being completed, he was already soliciting yet another LED company for free lights. He's very indecisive, and doesn't know anything relating to the science behind why these things work.

Beginners using our lights are yielding .8-1.0 grams per watt. People like myself are doing 1.5 grams per watt and up (but we also run aeroponics, co2, etc...). Another friend of mine did 1.8 grams per watt. So it's all about you and your level of experience, as well as the equipment you're using. I guarantee our lights will outperform any of our competitors watt for watt. For your first round, .8-1.0 gpw should be achievable. After a few rounds, over 1gpw should be achievable. People like VerdantGreen will likely do over 1gpw on their first harvest using our first generation LED's.

haha that is funny. Why the heck use LED if you don't know behind the scene science. Your saying he goes to different vendors receiving free lights? Why the heck does that not happen to everyone, lol? Anyways, my friend of a friend of a friend has your first gen 126w unit. I looked at it a couple times during his last flower cycle, the buds looked good and had size. He grew two Waikiki Queen sativas under it, I couldnt tell the diff between your LED and the HPS over to the left. Granted the HPS flowered more plants, but the LED had the same size flowers.

I have been reviewing your 205 for sometime since its release, but I want to wait for my buddy to use his other LED panels before I make a choice on what light to buy. Its hard making a decision. Maybe I can get him to do a three way test. The 126w hgl, the other led panels (dont know brand) and a 400w hps.

i chose a different company because i wasn't happy because neither light came close to what they were claimed. ans when i said i would fill my room with leds, i said if they worked great for me, neither worked up to my expeactions. i dont aprecate you bashing me like that.
saying i dont know the science behind leds. you will be surpized how much i know about leds. you think i have grown with leds for a year now and dont no anything?lol

i chose another company because i like to test leds and let the fourm members see what leds really work the best. how will we ever know if we only see two company's grow MJ?

It's LEDGirls call. It's her forum. If she says you can then it's up to her....

SKIP made it very clear my next grow is not to be posted on this forum at all, even if its not on led girls section. because of the company i am using. so their for i said i wont post it on this forum because the risk of getting banned from here, i use this forum to research info on plant problems and other stuff on growing. i figure its best to stay here and not get banned just in case i ever have plant problems or question in the future their are allot of good grows here that can help me out when i am in doubt.

No doubt, I have found ICMag the most informative place on the web with shall we say a, plethora of information on cannabis cultivation...

Seems clear that on a GPW basis LEDgirl's lamp is the winner. .71 vs. .57 is a huge difference. .71 isn't bad without any bells and whistles and an uneven canopy. Just keeping the canopy even ought to put the yield up toward 1-just look at Verdant's grows.

Precisely.... And yet Irish is still trying another companies light, because he feels that it didnt life up to the claims. But yet, the new light he is trying is essentially making the same claims that has been proven by HGL. Stating that the new 600w led should yield as good as his 600w hps. Well, seems to me that the 1g/watt that HGL's have more or less be proven to achieve fits right into that boat as well. But I know for sure I wouldnt turn down a 1899 dollar light either.... hehe.

Thanks for the detailed, time and space consuming tests contribution you made to indoor gardening irish.

Never let anyone upset you for sake of you having an open mind about exploring and searching for your personal preference and best options in the free market.

You constantly play dumb, and even tell people on your thread over on 420Mag that you don't know anything about the science behind the lights, white LED's, or any of it. You yourself call yourself uneducated on the matter, so don't get mad at me for re-iterating your own words. You didn't EVER do a grow aimed at Max yield with our light, it did beat ProSource, and I DOUBT highly that you yield .7 grams per watt consistently with a 400W HPS as you've yet to post a single grow using one.

For someone with EXPERIENCE using LED's, you posted worse gram per watt numbers than several first time LED users on this forum and others... Then you turn around and spout off on every other site that our light didn't live up to it's claims, and you never gave it a full run to REALLY see what it could do. You already had replacement lights on the way due to your greed of acquiring new things for free, and more or less "being for sale" as it appears. Can't wait to see who's light you're using after GLH lmao.

Plain and simple, you didn't give our light a chance. You gave up on it half-way through an uneven grow where our light actually came out the winner, and even after such you keep making excuses for ProSource "oh well guys, remember they had the runt in there", and you say NOTHING about the Hindu overcrowding the Blue dreams under our light, and robbing them of their yield. But hey, Verdant will hit over 1 gram per watt, as will MANY others very soon from our promotion. It won't take long before the good growers here on ICMag show that you acted prematurely and made accusations that they will prove false.

LED Girl...You're supposed to enlighten people...not criticize and laugh at them. If an individual has you at your wits end of being patient...saying nothing is a far better practice and promotion of business what you posted to irish.

Who made the decision to hook him up with the self-promoting product promotion? That's who you should be being critical toward.
