what are everyones thought on when to start using bigbud and when to stop?should one continue using it as they start overdrive and why? thanxs

I use Rose blood (bud blood that costs 14.99 at the local garden store) week 1, then Big Bud wks 2-8, flush for wks 9&10, cut. The only inorganic nutes I use. This works wonderful - huge buds. I take my meds down at 25%+ amber, so maybe just use through week7, then flush if you dont want to go as long. I am a veteran advanced user, but I am sure someone will tell me why I need overdrive at the end. Hope this helps.

Line: Iguana Juice Bloom, Pure Humate solution, Neptunes Harvest Seaweed, Big Bud, Unslp Molasses, Humbolt MycoMadness, & Hygrozyme in 100% CannaCoco - 5.8pH ALWAYS and everytime.

BigBud is a great and wonderful product by Advanced, one of their best. The best weeks to start would be between wks 2-5/6 depending on what week you are finishing. Overdrive I have found is not that great, but if you want to use it start on wks 6-7 and flush on the 8th.

Don't use the two together.. my 2 cents

weeks 3-6/7. then mix a new res w OD or just use koolbloom ripener. just about any 0-50-30 booster will work to fill in and harden off buds.

most likely...it's compatible with most nutrients. I have used it with a lot of different products. It's good.

I use big bud bud blood an overdrive I'd say out of all 3 big bud is the best. I agree about the overdrive didn't really show a difference IMO. But they don't recommend using them together. Big bud after week 2 then overdrive if any 1 week before
you flush. I think maybe I'll use the dry Kool bloom instead of the overdrive and see what's up. So I guess big bud is good I'm sure other products will do same maybe better these days. BB been out for a little bit now and I'm sure the competitor always looking for ways to compete with the competition. Any other people wanna chime in I see AN discussions all the time too. It's always a mix in opinions. It all comes down to what works best and easiest to you. That's my 2 cents. Peace people

its the bud blood I'd kick to the curb. Big B and Overdrive are a team. not that I use either of them anymore.

i got good results from big bud but i got to much junk biuld up in my ebbandgrow's for my liking. i expect to get some with all the carbs and sugars we feed but it was way to much for me. I've alway's favored dry koolbloom and still think i get alittle bit better results. plus it mixes up way easier seems to disolve without much effert. just my 2cents

Looking at the NPK values it looks like Koolbloom is much more similar to Bud Blood than to overdrive......

I use Nutri+ Bud+.
It is a chelated formula, using the same P/K as BigBuds chelated formula, with amino acids.
Bud+ is about $10 bucks / 130g cheaper than BigBud.


My full blossom additive program currently is Nutri+ Blossom+, Nutri+ Bud+ (testing for the 1st time), and AN Overdrive (testing for the 1st time ).

I was out of smoke, so I have had to prune off a few branches for a hold-me-over in week 7.
Amazingly, I did not flush this plant yet, but the smoke is very smooth and sweet.
