Independent farmers supply tobacco to auctions to tobacco companys, this much is true.

I'm referring to the subsidies and incentives for commercial growers and wholesalers of tobacco when I say "government grown".

There are companies like American Spirit who live somewhat outside of these lines.

Why are we talking about tobacco anyway?

If the tobacco industry is going to be used as a model for cannabis I need to change my vote in this poll.

I think you'll find the 'white' market will look a lot more like the market for wine than for tobacco. Even more likely than the beer market, which is still much more likely than the tobacco market.
