Hello, this is my 2nd pc grow, but my first time posting it on a forum. My Pc specs are 24'' by 20'', and has a hydroponics system in it. I orginally was trying to grow lowlife blueberry with sagmartha smurfberry, but the smurfberry seed never germinated. Im already 23 days in, so sorry for no pictures of beginning growth.

Please feel free to ask other questions on my grow, and what methods im using.:smokey:

I use foxfarm nutes, and run 20 hours on, 4 hours off. The plant has already shown sex, and its a female, yay! Im hoping the plant gets alot more taller so i can stretch it out more and do slight LST training to offer more side branching to increase yields. Already its showing alot of white hairs, but i also slightly nutrient burn my plant. I was expecting this bc i read before i started the grow that the blueberry is very sensitive to nutes at first.

Below is a picture of what my roots look like in my hydroponics setup. Ive notice the roots dont like root restriction at all, so this can be a big determination of yield.

Hey Suffix! I'm about to start a micro grow using the same type of technique. Here's my thread: https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=155214

I have grown before, but not micro and I thought it would be fun.

If you could explain your rez/system to me I would appreciate it. As you'll see on my thread, I may have to do some fiddling with the unit.

I read ur thread and was very impressed with new techniqies and advice from others.

My rez is a very small setup, which can hold about 1 1/2 gallons, and hold 2 plants standard. I use a fish tank water pump (elite 799) , with a goodsize airstone. If you were worrying about air pump being too noisy, i place it on its side, with rubber bottom agianst the pc wall. The rez doesnt have a drainage, so you have to phyiscally have to take it out of the pc grow case to empty it, this starts to be hassle later in my grow. If you check out my previous picture, it shows the roots, and the airstone i use.

I must say, with a resviour this small, it helps maximaze size in the pc growcase, and increases yield higher than others who grow soil in pc grow case. 2 good size plants can fit in the rez and hold the amounts of roots easily... and then some, lol.

here are some pics to get a better idea.

So, if I'm getting this right, the roots just sit in the solution on water and nutes, and that's keep full of air from the stone. Correct? All you do is adjust temps/nutes/PH and change? How often do you need to change a rez like that? I think I have the exact same container.
I bought a new pump/airstones and what not today just in case. I like options. The cool part is that I'm getting way more into the "sport" of the micro grow. It's fun!

Can't wait to check this out as it goes.

yea, i just let the roots sit in there, and i check ph 2 times day, and adjust it when needed. I change the rez about ever 5-7 days, to make sure i give my roots fresh water. Yea, i do recommend a larger air stone to get the most use of the small rez.

Yea, micro growing is pretty fun, and everytime u grow, u get better at it and have better yields. I hate when people say micro growing is pointless with the amount of yield you get. My last grow, i had alittle over half an ounce of bud produced, and this was after all my mistakes and faults. My goal is to try and get almost an ounce of this one plant. Im going to try and achieve this by "slight" lst training and promoting a good amount of side growth. By stretching the plant all the way across the pc grow case, this will help fill up alot of the space.

very nice setup you have algrow 12. With my hydroponics system i use fox farm liquid fertilizers. I use grow big, big bloom, and tiger bloom. Since my rez is very small, i have to use about 1/4 of the amount the that the directions say on the back of the bottle.

U have to be very very careful when using foxfarm with a small setup i have , bc its very easy to over fertilizer (just happen not to long ago, lol).

Out of the 3, i use big bloom the most. Ive notice my plants love that stuff. If u use tiger bloom right, it does help alot, but also a bitch to stabilize ph levels at times, so u have to be careful. I do use grow big through whole process besides just in beginning growth.

day 27, pictures

Its day 27, and the plant is looking very healthy. About 5 bud sits have already showed, and vertical grow is very slow at the moment.

It seems that my rez ph going crazy, so im trying to stablize it at the moment. :watchplant:

I was just going to ask about the rez. If you've seen my thread, you've seen my current woes. Any info you could give me on keeping it stablized would be great.

Also, did I miss something, or is that container clear? Not good for the roots if it is.

thanks for keeping tabs on my grow. My rez is not clear, so the roots dont get any light on them.

When working with a rez this small, its hard to really keep it stabilized besides checking ph 2-3 times daily. I do recommend checking the ph before you add ferts, and then a couple hours after to give u a better idea. U also want to remember to not use the full amount that the fox farm people tell u to use on the back of the bottle. U only need to use about 1/4 to 1/2 depending if ur growing another plant in the rez.

yea, i know its the nutes giving me the problems, but overall its really not that bad. but do u have any tips besides checking ph often to make sure the ph doesnt change so dramatically?

I would say to get gh floranova for your nutes it has ph stablizers in it to keep the ph in cheek. Even with that it's such a small rez when the plant takes up water and the water drops in the rez the ph should start to riase. This time im using hempy cups which is a passave hydro system that you hand water every day.if you want I can take a pic for you.

yea, please take a picture. Sounds like something that i might try doing on my next grow if it stabilizes the ph on its own, hahaha. My plant is looking great, and is starting to grow taller. Ill take pictures tomorrow and post them.

hey suff1x, could you take a picture of your case from the side displaying the whole thing? I got the exact same case and I'm trying to figure out how to get things started, so your thread here is a huge help :D Also, are your netpots directly in the solution? are are the suspended above it?
