whats the easiest medium youve come across to work with

lazyman perfect points, anybody with a plant or two can mix up all the soil goodies to make the best ever blend, but doing it with say 80 pots gets to be just to big of a headache to manage, and one maybe does make the mix or blend once, chances are a few months down the road a new road will be invented or discovered thats easier.

Neoprene dots in 2inch pots are by far the easiest, just dip in a chlorine solution and rinse and its ready to use again. Tho this is only for hydro. :p

Oh man I hated cleaning out all that hydroton. I don't think I'll ever work with that stuff again. Based on this thread, I'm going to try coco with Age Old nutes. I'd go just all soil, but meh...too lazy.

I haven't tried all of the others, but as a fairly new grower (on my third grow right now), I have found organic soil (LC's mix with dry ferts, specifically) to be very forgiving and easy to work with. Once the soil is done properly, I can use it all grow without ever adding ferts (with the exception of molasses and a little bit of Liquid Karma during watering). Works great for me!

I quote you 100% mate!
for me after started with a good soil base, only enzymes from the beginnig and molasses or similar in flowering.

lcs mix sounds real nice to me, but dam expensive when running any kind of numbers, but im sure it puts out a higher qaulity product in some way to what im doing, its full of natural goodies.

Rockwool!

Rockwool!

Hi All ! Rockwool is simple if done right! Use RO water PH 5.2
soak cubes overnight, this is for 6" Hugo , then stack the cubes on top of each other in the tub they will drain out, except the bottom cube, take the bottom cube and put on top of a new dry fresh cube,it
will drain out, then check the ph of runoff, it should be lower than 6.5 then mix a batch of Supernatural cube soak 3/4 tsp per gal of RO water ph to 5.2,then soak overnight, then drain excess soak mix and check the ph again should be 5.8~6.2.....that's it...here's a pic of

GrapefruitXHazeXOGKush F-1 seed....
