New "Rate this post" is awesome!

Yeah I think it's a great addition, it will allow to see what more people think of the content of a post, without them having to reply.

Not all threads have the button that lives between "Search this Thread" and "Display Modes"

I'm not sure I understand. There's the thumbs on each post, allowing users to rate whether the content of the post is helpful or not. There is the rating of the thread, 1-5 stars, which rates the thread overall. There is also the rep, which is nothing new, which is a rating of the member. When one of your posts gets a thumbs up, you get rep. I'm not sure if anything happens when a thread of yours gets a rating.

yeah i like how it will encourage people to be more factual in their posts......and actually answer other peoples questions a bit more!

Are you sure about the stars? I've never seen this.

Scrub, in any forum mainpage, there is a a place for the stars on the far right side of the thread title , usually at least couple of threads have those on every page of the particular forum. Quess it hasn't gained that much popularity.

Inside any Forum, just above the first thread's title (Sticky or otherwise) is a bar that tells you Thread/Thread Starter. Just to the right of that is Ratings. Click that and you'll see Stars.

Inside any thread (other than this and mod areas) has a tool bar above the first post that includes Rate Thread.
