I haven't been able to grow for a couple years until now.
This is an organic grow, strictly for personal use as I go through school. It's much cheaper for me to grow my own medicine as all of you know. I also find it to be more safe and possibly healthier because I don't use chemical ferts.
I really missed gardening and I'm very glad I'm back into it, even if its on a scale never attempted before.
I have a Hydro farm 250W MH unit that I converted into a remote ballast so I could run the lamp in my air cooled hood that I have glass for and 6"vents on each side.
I have 1 Purple Kush clone that I was gifted from another patient friend of mine that mentioned it was from up north, from SR-71.
I planted it in a 3/4 gal pot of soil. The soil is a mix of FFOF, FFLW, additional perlite, EWC, and dolomite lime.
After a week or so I decided I would need to LST, a technique I have never used. Thanks to icmag, I think I made a good first attempt.
I've been using the veg tea from recipe #3 outlined in organics for beginners by BurnOne in the organics forum.
I flipped the lights to 12/12 on Dec. 7th and about 2 weeks later I switched to the flower tea from recipe #3.
I always used a pH pen in my coco/dripper and soil/PBP grows but in this organic grow, I haven't used it once.
I'll have current pics of it tomorrow, but here are some of it from veg up to a week into flower, going from 3/4 gal to 3 gal to 5 gal.
Oh, I cloned it three times (one for a mother, two for follow up flower plants). All three have rooted, just planted into 3/4 gal pots recently. I'll get pics of those soon too.
Thanks for stopping by!!
