Typically you can ask anyone working at the store and they will tell you. Same goes for any store, really. I got my chain at Wal-Mart, in the D.I.Y. section near the picture frames.

Home Depot or other hardware stores will have a "chain" section where you can roll out as much chain as you need and cut it yourself.

Usually spools of different chain, rope, and other materials sold by the foot are grouped together. Get more than you need, and make sure the loops are large enough for your hooks both at the top and where the reflector connects.

sometimes they make basic conversation and ask what it is for so you might need to think of something, i just say its for hanging plants. that way when you say for a dog chain they do not direct you to the dog chain they sell with the plastic coating over it!

fuckers got me good one time. i didnt waste the purchase on the plastic coated chain, but sure made for some awkward ass stare from the storeclerk. followed by my crazy man stare that knows kung fu.

i don't know kung fu, all bluff hahaha

you have to get the special "hang your hydro lights" chain from the hydro store, nothing else will work correctly. This chain is about $150 a foot. Looks like all the other chain out there but it is specail because it is from the grow shop.

j/k go to home depot, in the chain section. they have a cutter and a measuring strip on the ground, you just pay by the foot. You can go to the counter and ask for help and they will cut if for you and throw it in a bag.

If you need to ask where to find chain to hang your lights are you sure this is the hobby for you? I mean really, chain isn't that hard of a thing to find. hell a ton of zipties linked together would work.

Quit being lazy and use your brain.

i would be scared to blink with a ghetto ass jerry rig like zip ties, but i think that comment was just an illustration to think outside the box.

the op just wanted to be sure, i was the same way. the lights are heavy and i wanted to make sure i got the right stuff, it is only natural. lets all take a toke, nothing to see here
