LED Grow Light Buying Opportunity

We have 4 brand new 63W units left over from our first generation, production model grow lights. Since we want these gone sooner rather than later, we figured it would be best to post them on the forums to give a few people a chance to pick them up at a cheaper price. The retail is $275.00 shipped (each), but we will sell them for $200 shipped (each) to whoever wants them. The first person(s) to contact me, get them.

We also have 6 used 126W units that have been featured on our 1512W LED Grow, and others used in our veg garden. We moved recently and felt the need to downsize our garden at our new location. These are the 1st generation LED Grow Lights (retail $475 shipped), and we are selling them for $375 shipped (each). Again, the first people to contact me get them.

What kind of yield can these 63w models achieve? Will they have a simliar yield to a 150w hps or even better?
I'm very interested in getting an led setup since I wouldn't have to worry about heat as much, even though a 150 isn't too bad in that department anyways. However the lessened risk of a fire would be a definite plus. I just don't want to drop $200 on a light that will yield less then my $30 150w.

We've had several customers report better results with the 63W than their 150W HPS. For some (soil growers) it takes a grow cycle to get used to the differences with LED, as plants use less water etc..., but a lot get it down within the first 2-3 weeks. Anyhow, VerdantGreen is doing a 63W grow on the forums that you may want to check out.

I love them, as do most of my friends that are advanced growers (I still have a bit to learn). No heat signature, less heat over all to bake the room, incredible focused spectrums of the light you need. All my friends plants in their aero units are unbelievable, time will tell when they are done, which is very soon.

i want a 126w one..

are these going to be just as good as brand new ones? or are we better off paying the extra 75 for something that will produce better results

The 1st Generation panels used 70% red, 20% white, 10% blue, while our 2nd generation panels use 85% red, 5% white, and 10% blue. The spectral change is 15%, and we switched from a warm white to a cool white. All in all, the expected difference from the new models is 10-15%. For some that may be worth the extra $100, for others the 1st gen Demo lights are their best option ;)

I'm wondering about the whites. According to McPartland, et al. p.95 grey mold (botrytis) requires UV radiation< 345 nm to form new microconidia. Do either of these models put out UV in that range? Also, have any of your testers reported problems with bud mold? Because if they haven't, you should point that out. Otherwise you are overlooking a selling point.

No, our lights do not contain LED's below 400nm, and certainly none that stretch lower than 345nm. The cost for those kinds of LED's are ridiculous, and it will be several more years until they are a cost effective.

We have a few 126W demo units left, which all use 60 degree LED's. We are discontinuing the availability of the 30 degree models.
