Question about a 600w hps...

Is a 600w hps too powerful to grow in a box that is only about three feet high?
The attachments below are the actual specs. Any help would be appreciated, this is my first scrog grow and I can use all the help I can get. I am using a pretty big closet now, and I just wanna do something smaller and more discreet. I just really don't want to have to switch my lights...

This is in the vert section so I assume you talking about using it vertically instead of horizontally as your pictures describe.

Assuming vertical orientation, I think 3 feet would be enough. Krunchbubble uses 3 1ks in an 8' tall room and his canopy starts about 18" off the floor.
