The most common failure with our LED Grow Lights are the power supplies. I would say that on average, 2-4% of our overall units need a single power supply replacement within several months (126W units contain 3 power supplies). To date I believe we have done warranty work on less than 10 LED panels, but it does happen. I have to ship out 1 power supply today actually, as a customer had two sets of light engines go out. It's usually a very easy fix though, and I'll be talking to China very soon about the possibility of finding a new power supply manufacturer with a little higher quality. Our fans are German made, and a lot of the LED's come from the USA, so now it's time to fix the remaining weak point.

Yes MeanBean, quality is definitely of importance to us. It took several months to target our weak point, but we certainly know what that is now. For some companies the biggest weak point is their fans, which is why we use quality ones from Germany. Likewise other companies see the power supply failures, so if we go ahead and spend the extra $10-$20 now for better power supplies at the manufacturing level, it can actually help us reduce our overall costs in the end (shipping products to and from locations due to warranty work is costly). It also makes for happier customers when you have less instances of product failure.

My buddy had a procyon 100 go bad after about 6 months of use and it was replaced by the company he bought it from no questions asked.

Most LED companies I've heard reports back on, honor their warranties. I know our policy so far has been that if a replacement unit is necessary, we ship one to the consumer and then they return the defective one to us in the box.

excellent warranty policy, as I have heard a lot will want you to send in the unit before they diagnose or and wont send a replacement to cover your arse in the mean time

Edit: On an additional note, after thinking about having to replace HID ballast under warranty. It has always been the same scenario as mentioned above. I've had to send back the current ballast for inspection before a new one was issued. So your policies are lookin even better after thinkin back to the last couple of ballast I've had to replace while under warranty.
