USPS Priority Mail Sucks, who elkse has had lost mail?

I am so pissed, they lost my shit and have no clue where it went.
I paid $$ to make sure it was delivered safe, trackable etc, and it simply disappeared on route. After over 500 transactions with the USPS I will never use them again because of the way they are handling this. Come to find online, this is actually common with PRiority mail, unfuckingbelievable. The treatment they give you on the phone is typical of an unorganized and useless government run mess too, totally disrespectfull. They basically said Priority is not guaranteed, after telling me the opposite when I was shippiong it. Rant off..

you'd be surprised at some things I've seen personally, mail to the US that ended up in Iran

Thanks OP and others who have sent rep, I can't believe how they're handling it, it simply shows on the tracking that they lost it in their sorting facility, yet somehow, It's on me..Never again. UPS or FEDEX only from now on..

UPS and Fedex are worse they have no liability at all.

I have never had problems with USPS it seems they would be garunteed.

Use Express if you want it garunteed garunteed...

just wait till you try a claim with fedex or ups, you will think usps is god.....

Postal service is not much better north of the border. Sent a M/O out in November within Province, and receiver just received it last week...Now will see how long before the beans make their way down?

Haven't lost one yet, but this summer I got in some hot water with the 'bay after Priority mail took 17 days to get across the pond... it used to be so reliable.

UPS employees can easily steal merchandise and claim it was delivered, etc. there was a UPS driver arrested in the bay area for stealing like 400k worth of shit. he would just scan the packages delivered then keep them.
