Best yield you ever got on a indoor grow?

Six ounces off one Breeder Steve`s Sweet Skunk. It was in a 5 gallon pot under a 1000 watt hps with 3 other plantys. Peace GS

When talking about indoor rooms its pointless to give yield numbers without giving more details..

When discussing about yields in indoor gardens , it is important that one mentions the total timeframe from start to finish and total kwhrs used to get that yield from the plants.

Mentioning plant numbers is also useful for people that care for the plant numbers and growing surface area should also be considered but it is more important for outdoor growers where space is an issue.

The reason it is important to mention total timeframe and total kwhrs is this:

if one gets 1 kilogram of bud from a 1000w light (1gram per watt) in a 2 month period it is way different than getting 1 kilogram of bud but in 4 months as the second will have used twice as many kwhrs plus the period to harvest this yield would be double.

a gram/watt number also works well, esp so that people using 600s can compare too. I think there might even already be a thread on gram/watt

hi milehimedi

seems you didnt get my point

gram/watt doesn't mean much without further details !

1gram/watt in 4 months is of half 'efficiency' compared to 1g/w achieved in 2 months period as in 4 months you will have spend twice the energy and time to get the same yield.
Now.. gram/watt per month (per time unit) is much better if people want to compare things.

I yielded 410gms, from a 360w conversion bulb, with Chronic from seed. Had 9 plants in a 4x4 area. One month veg. Two month flower. Now that I run clones, and a few years added experience, I'm sure I could do better. But there are better strains to grow than Chronic.

Gram per watt without more details does mean something. If you are even looking at it, you likely are doing some kind of production. If you are doing production, you likely are growing a strain thats 9 weeks or less. Adding a time parameter speaks more to your timing than anything (having new clones ready to go right at harvest, taking clones at right time, transplanting, etc)

I understand that 2 months goes into 4 months twice. Thought it would be nice to include those using 600s. What 4 month strains do you grow? haha

"Thought it would be nice to include those using 600s."

Lamp wattage doesn't matter really when you compare growroom efficiency. But total wattage used and timeframe is important (to take into consideration total energy used), irrespective of what light bulb/s you use.
