reasons for choppers hovering near private property?

good morning all,
yesterday at 3:00pm there was a chopper hovering over my house, i mean directly over top. the bird did one full circle came back and hovered for about 3mins, then went back in the direction it came from. there is suppose to be a highway chopper for this area, but i have never seen it. hearing a chopper out and about here is rare.
so, what would bring a chopper so close to private property in a manner of such?

Maybe they where checking Electrical Transmission lines? Or they where doing a little FLIR on your house. Maybe checking your shingles? Who knows.

a dirty rat.... ive heard for years (and I know your not gonna want to hear this) LEO uses helicopters with special heat seeking devices to search for indoor MJ grows. I also have read were the heat signal has to be pretty significant for them to conclude that MJ is being grown.... hope none of this applies to you. I was helpin a buddy of mine out with a pretty extensive outdoor grow and (thank god when I wasnt around) LEO comes down in his big black helicopter spots the shit, calls in the ground LEO's and months of hard work just snatched from us.. all the ladies except the couple they overlooked had been raped

Go watch "Never Get Raided" - they talk about FLIR, how and when it works, and how to throw it off. The key is to spread the heat out over the house. This is best accomplished by pumping the hot exhaust underneath the house. You never want to pump it directly out of the house.

I watched a tv program the other day (UK BBC three) showing helicopters using heat detection equipment & you dont see spread out heat over the house, you see the actual bulb itself glowing bright as fuck, through peoples roofs!
Sorry for the bad news but its very very obvious with the equipment they used in the program thats its a grow bulb. This little tube of intense heat...standing out from the other roof tops...

Some ground level heat detection equipment seems to measure heat around windows doors etc...this helicopter one just directly showed bulbs in peoples houses, clear as day thats its a grow bulb

Ive had choppers fly over mine & hover, at the end of the day i reckon they were watching my room, but i can't stop my grow, what am i gonna do, kill my plant that im in love with? Hell no! If theres a chance you'll pack up & stop then maybe think about it, but i know this far into it i can't possibly stop, so no point stressing about it...

yeah they will lie to you guys in the UK like that, but flir can't see inside your house only the heat, you can't see bulbs and shit thats just propaganda bs

They showed it & you could actually see the heat from the bulb glowing, if your a grower you know what that tube glowing is, they didnt say they can see, they showed what they can see fomr the helicopter
The glow was yellow/red from the tube
