I'm vape fan for sure.
My first vape was a cheap china made box with a whip. Probably made from dangerous chemicals and materials, but it worked very well and was a great/cheap intro to vaping.
When that bit the dust (3 months after purchase) i bought an iOlite (then iInhale). It took me a few tries to get it right, but once i did...woooo! high like a mother fucker...Too high on many occasions. That portable vape has never left my side since. Infact i bought another one as back up incase this one ever breaks and has to be sent in for warranty.
My Brother-in-law has a volcano classic that he says he doesn't like, he prefers smoking. I've used it once and loved it. He says I can hang on to it until he wants it back (probably never). So that's sweet. Free volcano...can't argue with that. If that doesn't work out though...i'm thinking about buying the Extreme. Been reading about it for a few weeks now and it seems just as good if not better (and cheaper) than the volcano.
There can be a period of time where you are adjusting to the vapor. I'd say it took me a good 3 weeks to fully adapt. In that time, I wasn't as high and my lungs were coughing more than when i was smoking. But after the adjustment period, my lungs cleared and felt better than ever, i don't cough any more, and the high is now much stronger and clearer.
I definitely prefer the taste of vapor. A few months after i started exclusively vaping, i took a hit off of a bowl and it tasted like SHIT! i couldn't believe how terrible it was, i had to pass on it cuz it was so bad.
My wife still prefers smoking...that's cool..i'm not gonna force vape on anyone. But damn...kissing tastes bad...smoldering bowls and billowing smoke smells terrible. Can take me right out of the mood.
The odor of vape is awesome too...It doesn't smell like burning weed...it's not that strong, dissipates quickly, and doesn't stick to your clothes or breath. Great for non smoking areas and stealth maneuvers. I've even made a hobby of seeing where in public i can vape. Stores, parks, movies, Limo rides. Awesome.
The slight learning curve and adjustment period seems to scare a lot of people off. Stick with it and you will be more than pleased.
I love vaping.
