Thiers a sucker born every second and playing cards isn't for the weak or peeps who boast about winning $71.00, that's a glass of wine and a good steak.

When you play tournaments in a ball room or function room with 50 other tables with 10 players on each table and win and advance until you are the poker champ with earnings in the 5 to 6 figure range then you can give up your day job to make your card playing a full time job as a professional.

Some games the buy In's start at $50,000 a far cry from $2,000 or $3,000 so with that said I have learned people here like to bullshit and tell stories that are so far fetched it gives me a reason to read all the poor suckers replies and are sucked right into a world that doesn't exsist except in the mind of a warped persons brain.

put that $71.00 & change in a check and send it to a charity fund for the people in Haiti and stick to growing a sure thing or keep your day job and play online for free and if you lose it won't break your bank!!

Yes I have lost 1000's at once before, but for a lifetime, or say from the 1st trip to Vegas back in 1992 to the last trip to the casino in 2010, I am ahead a good 10 by casino standards. My standards, more like $7500. Why so little? I went in binges, stayed away for sometimes years, and have retained the ability to count cards. I just added the relaxing part because I was so comfortable playing at a 10 and 15 dollar table.


I can't stress enough that if you can play often, take the 50 bucks and play at a limit you are comfortable with.

Last night I went up 300 and thought about playing a slot machine. I won 68. Instead of leaving I at down to play. A few times I was still up 168. I was playing with 3 players not following basic hit/stand strategy. They were standing on 15 and 16's all night long. I found myself down, the count was -10, and I bet 1/2 my stack with a tip for the dealer. The 3rd baseman stayed on an A5. The dealer interjected and convinced the kid to take a hit. He got a 3. for 19. The deal then pull 2 2's and a 10 for 21. The last bet had no chance. I was handing it over, basically. I managed to keep 168.00 in cash from the slot machine.

The odd thing is that I did the same thing once. I stayed on an A5. Only when the dealer tried to correct me from standing, I refused to hit and took control of my situation. The dealer had a pat hand. I lost and everyone else got paid. What makes it odd is that the game could be rigged. It was a hand that would have made any dealer take over. It was up to the player to stand his ground and show his fortitude.

For all I know it was a total set up. How hard can it be for the house to fill up the table with players? stacking the deck to get that hand, well lets just say it could be done magnetically.

I'm taking a break for a few months. It's was a grind for sure. And I still have a nice bankroll.

Yes you can. I really think that with enough practice and experience, you can win more times than lose.

Dude.... if you realy think that a dealer can rig a black jack game, you are out of your mind. Besides, why would a dealer, who is getting paid minimum wage and works for tips from the players, rig a shoe to make you loose? Doesn't make any sense to me.

Well he does see the card first if he raises it up high enough.

The tape will show that while most of the cards were dealt in .475 seconds, this card took 1.21 seconds.

I can only think of spiteful reasons.

I doubt there is anything the House can do or willing to do. They need dealers with certain skills to counter players who have a consistent advantage. It's either hire the dealer who accidentally burns cards, or create a large conspiracy against certain players.



If you do want to heed the warnings, what can I do about it. Tell you that you're making a big mistake.
