A couple pics of our Kali Mist

The smell of the plant and buds is definitely lemon, but it doesn't dominate the total aroma. It's hard to describe, kind of sandalwoody at times. When you break off a piece the lemon really becomes apparent, but it's a dank lemon. The smoke is spicy at first but when you exhale the aftertaste has that same dank lemon to it. The high from this strain can only be described as intense. After you blow out the smoke, it's like you're seeing stars for a few seconds. The high rushes over you at first in what feels like waves. It's not just an all head sativa either, you can feel it in your body, like an energy inside you. This continues for about fourty five minutes, at which point I would always look my bowl and realize I'd only taken one hit! It also gives me the munchies like there's a black hole in my stomach. I could go on and on but if you're not growing Kali Mist you need to be.

We let this lady go about 72 days or so

He would have some dried bud shots if I didn't smoke it all.....

One time I let her go 86 days and realized I couldn't smoke casually with friends because it is too much to handle for the light smokers...

I'm his brother by the way

We're both really happy we recently became a part of this site. Everybody here is welcoming and extremely knowledgable.

People helping people is rare these days

I gotta say I think the next seeds I buy are going to be some Kali Mist. I've wanted to try it for a long time and I keep seeing more good things about it. Thanks for the excellent report and pics! :respect:

This is a Kali that started to flower on new years:

Here is one that we pollinated with a Pure Power Plant:

Oh do I love the Kali Mist, and crossing some with PPP should be interesting.
We're hoping so! We also pollinated our White Widow, Pinesol, SSH, and Blue Mystic with the same PPP male and ended up with around 1,000 seeds.

NICE! I drooled when seeing those buds. Kali Mist is one of the all time GREAT canna strains.

Our soil/less mix is based on LCs soil mix, in the sticky. It consists of the following:
-5 gallons Canadian sphagnum peat moss
-5 gallons Black Forrest compost
-2 gallons earthworm castings
-3 gallons perlite

We amend this with the following per gallon of soil:
-1 tbs Whitney farms life link tomato
-1 tbs dolomite lime
-1 tbs bone meal
-1 tbs blood meal
-1 tbs kelp meal
-1 tbs jersey greensand

and occasionally:
-1/2 tbs prilled dolomite lime
-1/2 tbs crushed rock phospahte
-1/2 tbs Epsom salt

To feed we add the following, per gallon, to water that has been air bubbled 24 hours:
-1 tbs molasses
-1 tbs earthworm castings
-1 tbs kelp meal

Once it develops a foam on top it's ready to use. Other than that we don't do much. If our plants need a kick in veg we will add a cap-full of Alaska fish emulsion to the bucket of EWC tea a few hours before we feed. Let the soil break down for a month before using it and you'll be good to go for weeks. We can reuse soil too, which cuts down on costs a lot.

Why so little bone meal? Does the tomato stuff make up for it? Just curious.
