My RRF - Just about chopping time! Picture time!

Well, I am really anxious to chop my girl down. She is at about 10 weeks.
Trichs are 90% cloudy, 5% amber, 5% clear.

This plant has not received one drop of nutrients.
Whatever was in the Miracle Gro Moisture Control has kept her alive for this long. Good enough for me! No need to fuss with buying nutes.

Just wanted to share some pictures.

Here she is next to a gallon jug for size comparison.

This is her main cola.

Another shot for comparison. Tucked a lighter in there.

Good news is I pollinated her lower branch buds.
Should get about 3-4 dozen seeds total.

And finally some trich pics.

So what does everyone think?

Do I need to flush her even though I didn't use any nutes? All I have used is tap water from seed to now!

Should I cut 'er down and hang 'er up? Or wait a day or two?

I really do enjoy a body high, so I may wait til about 25% amber.

I think you will be happier if you let her get to at least 25 %...maybe even 50%. She really looks great though, hard to believe what she has done in that soil, and under those lights. Thanks for sharing this grow, very instructive on the ability of af's to grow under cfl's.

nice plant man..you done this with no nutes at all i think its impressive well done man....so what did u do got mircle grow planted a seed and just watered it..did u maintain a ph or anything...how many dry grams do u think you will get... what plant is it...

Yea I just watered it with tap water from day 1. No PH balancing/test at all either.
As to the dry weight I have no idea. This is my first auto grow so it is difficult for me to tell.
I will post back when I do get her chopped and dried. It is a Russian Rocket Fuel, or RRF for short.

Looks like ya got another week or so...maybe 70 days total. Dont be too anxious, wait till the trics get to 25% at least, then the dark treatment, then Choppy choppy.

ye how many weeks is it growing and what light cycle have u got it on and what container is that its in...i gonna b doing a faiely big grow and pending on how many dry grams you get i might do it your way for the stress i think it would save my only worry would b since all the nutes in the soil you wouldnt be able to flush it and you would probly gat a tatse of nutes off it even doe youn never used any...what you think did you ever use mircle grow be4

It just about 10 weeks now. I am using an 18/6 lighting schedule with 149 watts of cfls (600 equiv, 2700k). I started it in a 16oz plastic cup. After a couple weeks, I cut the bottom off of a 1 gallon wind shield washer fluid jug, and painted it black, cut some drainage holes in the bottom, and that's where it has been.

nice grow happy, that plant looks awesome. just wondering did you just cut off the bottom of the 16oz cups then just put those in the jugs? thanks for the help man.

well my rrf only started to flower last week ( 4weeks old )
so im guessing if yours was the same you should take her a good 12 weeks seed to harvest

peace

Man, 12 weeks from seed? Thats kinda rough. I mean most regular strains finish in 12 weeks if started 12/12 from seed. Oh well.

Is 12 weeks common with RRF? If so, maybe we should let stitch know so he can fix the 8-10 weeks in the description.

well im not totally sure bro but mines only just started to flower last week week 4, there perfectly green and healthy just seem to be real slow growers, my only intention with rrf was to find the bush pheno and i got a male and female for it so im happy but, i just discovered it also has a hermaphradite issue going on so it may never be another run in my garden!

Sorry to hear about the problem gene-weaver.
I have quite a few seeds from this plant, so I will probably try some outdoors this summer, but I doubt I will be running them indoors again. I am looking for something a little smaller, with a quicker seed to harvest turn around.
