my timer for my hps has broken and i have been turnin on and off manually. a few times i have been late by an hour turning it on and a couple of times ive been an hour and a half late turning it off. will this skrew up my flower cycle? im in week five with two more weeks to go.

If you carry on messing it up then it will, my advice would be just to get a cheap digital/segmented timer and run it from that

He's right!

Man, a 15 amp digital Intermatic is under US$20 and it'll last you for years. Get a friggin' timer!!!

Yea get a mechanical timer for less than $15 - Just make sure it is rated up to 15amps or at least what your light pushes.

Without a timer you can look forward to pollen sacs, stretchy buds, delayed maturation..the list goes on. Ya gotta have a timer.

Not having a timer reminds me of doing light dep outside....its a pain!

Yeah get that timer. I have seen cheap 3 prong timers at Bartell that would work for about $8. Save yourself the problems and spend the money.

I agree with everyone and suggest that maybe you take a second to re-assess how committed you are to your grow. I'm not saying you aren't, but at 5 weeks into flower I would think you'd be a little more "on top" of it. Depending on what state/country you are in, that type of nonchalant attitude could get you in trouble.

Light timer is the only way to go.
