Cheese is a pheno of Skunk#1, and has that SK1 structure. You can even pick out notes of that cheesy aroma in other SK#1 and related crosses. I've got a shiva skunk that is a dominated by grapey notes but with a very noticable cheese low end, with the cheese aromas coming on later in flower...especially noticable when rubbing finger hash after working the room. Was all grape perfume until week 7.

Good calyx to leaf, good taste, potent, ready at about 60. Have never run it outdoors, so no input there.

Hey Tickle, what was the heavyer yielder? The Cheese or Blue Cheese? Which do you think Pico's is?

well I had one pheno of the blue cheese that was short and squat and an excellent yielder. I'm talking a 1/4 lb+ in a 3 gallon pot in a room where it didn't have a prime spot under either of the 1kw hps I run. but the flavor and high wasn't as good as this stretchy, lower yielding pheno I have. The nug structure is actully similar to the UK cheese. I have only don't one test run with the UK cut so far. but it seems like the UK will definitely outyield the Blue Cheese cut I kept.

I've heard the difference in the UK cheese and the big buddah cheese is very minor and you really gotta know the plant to know the difference. I think Pico's nugs look like the nug structure of the UK cut I have. the way to tell is the UK cut always has red leaf stems on fan leaves. and also has a double serated leaf mutation. branches grow very angular and it clones almost quicker than any strain I've ever grown.

A couple pics from the Emerald Cup. Trim Scene was showing their dvd and they constantly had a huge crowd in front of their booth. Lots of laughs. I actually saw a girl dodge getting thrown up on by about six inches.

Yo HB, thanks for sharing your experience-strength-hope with us. It is amazing to see how our Brothers share with each other on this site. I paid my dues many many moons ago as a past importer from far off lands. If i had seen the movie Midnight Express before my adventures I probably would have not been so adventureous. But, it hadn't come out by the time I cut and ran from the Bizzzz. I was young, dumb, and more guts than brains......and lucky beyond belief. I say the forgoing as my feeble attempt to prove worthiness in the face of such monumental efforts I see before me on this thread. I am an old grower now, and as one, I feel it is my duty to express my deep gratitude to you for your efforts to help our community be better at what we do. May the Magic Karma Eagle keep you and yours protected and prosperous under his wings forever.
Your Fan, Wazoo

Thanks Wazoo and Smiley. I am really looking forward to this new year. I have some big things planned and I can't wait to get underway. I hope to avoid a lot of the mistakes I have already made and take things to a whole new level. This winter break is flying by and I can't believe I will be starting seeds again in about six weeks. Wish everyone a prosperous and safe new decade.

Hey Pelican, thanks for the kind words. I have several friends in your neighborhood. Way out on the backside. Good luck this following year and I hope you get your Twister.
I was a lot cockier in my youth but have had plenty of humbling experiences along the way to learn from. Plenty just in the last year. Now I try to not take any of this for granted. I have lost some friends along the way but also gained many new ones.
I would love to start my own collective to provide my meds directly from the farm to the people who need it. I have been thinking about it a lot lately. I think it is something that really needs to happen. Could be the next phase of my life. I'll keep everyone posted if I start heading that direction.
