Exausting a 1,000w hps and 400w hps together?

My question is can you exaust two hoods (one 1,000w hps 6" hole, and one 400 w hps 4" hole) together with out major problems for the lights?

This takes place in a small walk in closet. I would use a 365 cfm inline fan on one side of the 6" hood exausting to the attic, having the two hoods conected with ducting and just leaving the other side of the 400w hps 4" hole open?

Or should I just get another exaust fan for the 4" hood and run another exaust pipe thru the attic?

you will be fine , no need for another hole in the ceiling and fan for each light .

j: they sell convertors for ducting at home depot. get some of those, with some nashua tape (silver like foil) an hook that up to your 400. an seal all cracks with the nashua an your good. but make sure your 6 inch is going out into the attic, not the 4.

ex : exhaust-1000-6inch-convertor-400-inline fan. < make sure its blowing the air.

good luck.

Does it matter if I don't have a intake blower fan on the other side of the 4" hole hood......I'm just leaving the hole open.

I'm using the inline fan to suck the hot air thru the hoods and to the attic, I'm not using the inline fan to push the air thru the hoods to the attic..

EX: attic-Inline Exaust fan-1,000w-400w-closet air via open 4" hole in hood.
