Here is everything I use-soil
Pro-mix bx, EWC, Perlite, dolomite lime
ferts- Pure Blend Pro grow and Bloom for soil, Liquid Karma, Cal-mag, Superthrive and of course blackstrap molasses. With just a touch of potash as pH up that's it. So what do y'll think? Am I organic, yea or nay? And Why. :dunno: :smokeit:

I'd say for most purposes it'd be a Yea if you cut out the Superthrive first & foremost. Healthy plants don't need it IMHO and it's not organic.

The soil blend sounds solid & LK/molasses are two quality food sources. I'm not sure about the PBP line, don't use it so not familiar.

You're close, Hank!

The Voting Pole has confused me again... I would say you are mostly Organic, which is better than not being Organic at all or having an Organic Conscience.

My regiment is different, and so is everyone elses. My use of soil for bloom: Happy Frog! 100% No mixing! Hell, when you start talking about hundreds or thousands of plants who has time to mix? In veg, I use Ocean Forest.

For feeding, Bio Bizz or General Organics, full line with tea and Botanicare Bloom as and additive, throw in a little tea mix and I'm done, I usually keep it simple...

Good Luck with your grow Hank!!!!

I've never been a big proponent of superthrive myself. I like to call this style natural since most is organic and most of the rest from natural sources.

There is a noticable difference between buds grown with 100% organic teas and pbp pro line. pbp makes an organic line why not give that a shot or find another organic bottle fert. To go around telling people your buds are organic is kind of false advertising, some people take that stuff pretty seriously.

if you look into certification, you will find there's a list of ammendments and potting soils which you could actually use and be certified organic

if even 1 product you use is not on the list you can't be certified - and therefor you can't claim to be organic

the truest organics happen in nature if you were replicating these processes to make a natural garden then you would be much closer to 'true' organic

anytime you BUY a PRODUCT you would have to scrutinize whether it was derived by natural processes (is it on the list?)

So technically, you are close but literally you are miles away

Where and who certifies this kind of thing?

in US its USDA - linky

wiki has more info like might help for worldwide

chops a pretty fine line for whats organic and whats not (the standardization process anyway)

different countries vary as to the minimum (kinda like different gardeners)

Thanks for the info. :)

Hank,

PBP is not organic. PB Original is. CalMag is not organic as well. The best way to do organics is to use REAL organics in soil or make your own teas. I wish I had the space to do real organics, it is so much better for your plants and for you. If you would like to try a total organic line of ferts try out Earth Juice.

FUCK superthrive waste of money
I have heard they are a scam also , on the other hand I have heard its amazing .

I use a drop in a gallon here and there , maybe your right and it is a waste of money . I guess a side by side test would help

i haven't used superthrive in ages, but when i did use it, i saw no diference. The most difference was noticed when i stopped spraying cuttings, and just let them do their thing.
