Nice roots. I remember mine looking like that until I got slimed years ago. I have to give it another crack.

It won't fit.
Botanicare trays are 41" across, these are about 37".

Plastic welder, plastic sheet, plastic angle.

Just buying a new table and lid would be cheaper if you are just doing one, though.

hey,

I've made similar lids in the past out of foam insulation board from home depot. Fit perfectly snug down in my botanicare tray lip.

At that time I used netpots with neoprenes...worked great.

Had just ordered the 3x3 botanicare tray, going to get the american hydroponic heavy duty tray and the gro-well top and try this method because it looks awesome. I'll have 1000W on it. Already have enough clones with massive root nets in my ezcloner, will need to cut open some rapid rooters and lodge the clones in them to fit in the tray top. should be awesome, thanks for the idea cheeb.

I'm really interested to find out what you yield is on that grow Cheeb. Great work, an inspiration, will start my gro-well top grow next week!!!

update

this 600w tent gave me a little over 9 ounces. Not great, but I never complain either. Infact its pretty damn good consider I gave this tent about 1% of my time/attention - not even unzipping the thing but once a week - no res changes ever.

Cant risk the plant numbers to load this tray up again right now, but a future run flipped immediately should return much better results.

I urge anyone interested in mediumless ebb and flow to give this method a try. Ebb&Flow truly has to be the easiest most forgiving method of hydroponics there is.
