Can i leave my grow room for few days at a time??

sure you can. its just quite a bit risky in terms of something potentially happening in your apartment building and your landlord needs immediate access to your place. a flood upstairs... electrical problems... fire... any one of these things will require them to enter and since its an 'emergency' they don't need your permission.

That brings me to another question.
My buudy got a fake wall here, its really he should work on it - the grow room behind the wall get sREALLy hot if its CLOSED and SEALED :|
So right now when the light is ON, the door to the wall is open. IF he leaves it like that, anyone who walks into the apartemnt sees it. It would be great to install some kind of cooling mechanism in the fake wall
Other then that question is:
Can he lock the fake wall, turn off the lights and leave for 2 -3 days and leave the plants? Or is that too much stress?? WHat if he installs a second, low power light in there? That could work - no heat + LIGHT which means plants wont be stressed

sounds like your on hydro, if your rez is full why not leave them for a few days. I am in soil and only show up when i need to feed ie every 2 or 3 days. Ballast are safe if hooked up properly. This way you will not kill your plants with to much love.

2-3 days in the dark?? How far along are you? no way IMO....... After watering I leave the room for 3 days before I even open it up again. I dont even look inside during those 3 days. You should be ok. I left my fans on 24/7 for 8 months now and I havent had an issue.
Lower light and less heat would be the best bet If you cant leave them. How big is the room? A 400 shouldnt be that hard to cool when set up properly. How many CFMs are you using?
If al ese fails Id Throw in a bunch of CFLs for some minimal light at least IMO. and keep them on 12/12 untill you gt back.
If you are in hydro and are worried about ph issues with your ferts and res, just ph balance straight water and use that for the time being and swap out anew batch when you get back.

another advantage to not going in more than needed is that you reduce bringing in pests

I left my plants for 22 days and they look stellar.
I won't lie though, I was nervous about leaving them.
If I ever have to do it again (Hope not) I'm going to use CFLs though.
