vapourtronic unit worthless , vapour disk very essential???

i read the thread on the vapoutronic both small n large unit, ive since got one and really even though its only 36 bucks i have to wonder if its necessary? the neutral disk work great, no erb smell, very minimal disk scent which im starting to actually really like to smell, is so clean n fresh and wakes u up but since the unit has just a tiny fan to blow over the disk, wouldnt just putting a disk hanging on a nail in the wall with a fan blowing on it be jsut as good? im thinking ordor control can now be done for around 2-6$ a month via a disk hanging on a nail. not complaining.


anybody else used theese and found out the same thing??

I have one and they work great but you are right that you do not need the unit.

If you buy the cartridge it comes in a tupperware ( plastic ) container with a snap top lid. That way when you are not using the unit you can put it back in the case to save it.

But if you just poked a couple holes in the snap on lid and bought the cheapest smallest fan or desktop fan and ran a stream of air over it I think it would work the same.

When the cartridge dries out you can pour some water into and get more out of it or use mineral oil.

I've used it and it worked ok, not great, but ok for my 4x4 600 tent grow.

However, now that I've gone "bigger" I went and bought the Opt 4000.

You can't put a price on your freedom is what I say.

suprised with the vapourtronic thread, the reallllllll long one concerning the use of the vap 4000 nobody brought it up that your paying decent money for nothing with the unit but a cheap fan. u buy a disks for like 2.25 a peice , spend ten-fifteen on a small desk fan and your done.

couldnt get easier, keep in mind i avoid skunk n deseal, not sure anything can handle them properly as ive been in big grow spaces with 500 hundread dollar charcoal scrubbers and the house n outside yard still smelled like weed.

i guess if anyones growing low odor stuff for around 2.25$ to 5.50$ a month your odor can be a thing of the past. no reason to complain-
