What ever happened to the 3LB?

As I am just getting into growing I've really identified with the three little birds thoughts. I read they were laying low after the fall of OG, but have they ever resurfaced on any forum? I'd love to keep up with their wisdom.

Read everything you can that they offered up to the community. Some of the best organic growing learning material you can get your hands on, IMHO:jump::jump:.

I've never heard such a true statement in my life. Regardless to what anyone else wants to say, I've learned more on the forums after establishing my basics on reading various books and such on this subject, than I have from those books, or from anything else I've read, be it on the internet or another form of literature. I'm an active member here because nothing is more percise than this website. It's chalk full of research and proven concepts.

What was their story? Was it a group of people that lived and grew in the same area? When you say disbanded, did they stop working together? Does anyone know their history? Its a shame we only have captured some of their wisdom. Their approach is a lot like the great gardeners of the world, Eliot Coleman, Ruth Stout, etc. in that they have a great connection with nature and the soil ecosystem.

Once OG fell, it appeared they went to Cannabis World as the flintstoners. However, I read a post in 2006 where they claimed some questionable practices by the administrator at CW put their security at risk. They said they would no longer participate in online forums. That was back in 2006.

I was hoping they are still out there and one day will reappear. If anyone has any knowledge they can share, it would be nice to know.

If I remember correctly - they did come here, and started a series of threads, and a new co-op type thang (Flintstoners, anyone???).

I do not know them, or their business, but seems to me they were shut down/out after some questionable activities, or allegations of same.

I do not know who, what or why. I am not saying they did anything wrong.

I'm just adding info to the discussion - that which I remember, anyway...

They used to post on Cannabis World before it went down along with Overgrow. I was very close to them via PM and posting in the forums. They showed up elsewhere as Flintstoners. They were being trolled big time and dropped out. But their contributions are immortal and live on.

So glad I found this site and really appreciate all the great knowledge and experience shared here. I've been learning alot and the 3LB's old posts along with general info on this site have me feeling like I've got it somewhat dialed in for the coming season. I've copied and saved every 3LB post I could find including "Organic Information", molasses, and the "Scoop on Poop." Most 3LB stuff can be easily located with a Google search. Thanks to everyone in this forum for helping me to understand soil mixes, nutrient programs, compost teas, and microherds.
